G4 recently got ahold of Dylan Cuthbert and asked him a few questions about the future of Star Fox.

Cuthbert has revealed the following:

1. He would like to wait 10 years before working an another SF game.

2. SFWii would require a large dev team that Q Games cannot set up right now

3. Furries?

4. He thinks the Wii is a toy.

5. He doesn’t feel that the Wiimote would make a good controller for Star Fox, though motion plus might.

6. He says that Miyamoto doesn’t care what fans think, and that Miyamoto feels that SF is about more than just Arwings

So, there you have it. Q Games is out for SF Wii. This doesn’t mean that we won’t see SFWii, but it is sad to see one of the key people behind Star Fox have a detachment like this. We could still get it from EAD. We could still get it from another second or third party developer.

Cuthbert is a high-up at Q-Games, so it is a definate that the next SF game will not come from Q Games. The Hot Potato gets passed again. To whom? We don’t know yet.
