NeoGAF user Stallion Free has posted some 720p screenshots of Star Fox Assault, obtained via emulation. Bask in the glorious details you couldn’t really see before. Also note how the textures for the HUD are blocky because they are not rendered like the 3D geometry is.

Very good looking, proves that Nintendo games look decent, it also helps out with the hard-to-satisfy 1400 x 900 resolution, since it’s larger, yet not so big that it looks weird.
