Here are a couple of rules for fanart related to copyright:

Note that this is for posting art that you did not draw. If you drew it, obviously you have permission to post it as you are the artist.

1. Any image marked "Do Not Distribute" may not be embedded or attached. Link directly to the artist's gallery page for it.

2. Make sure the artist is identified. If you don't know, say so, and when someone tells you who, edit your post.

Here are a couple of nice things to do:

- Link to the artist's gallery

- Link to the image in the gallery instead of embedding it so the artist can get the view counts.

- Don't hotlink the image. You will be held responsible if a hotlink protection script redirects the image to something against the image policy.
