Fanstuff: Nintendo History in Song
While there is not even a mention of Star Fox in this, I found it to be an amusing, but very abridged, look at the history of Nintendo through a Broadway-esqe song complete with accompanying animation.
YouTube user "BrawlintheFamily" put this together. It is nicely done, the audio is quality for a YouTube video.

Fanstuff: Star Wolf on Electronic Organ
Japanese YouTube user nori9819 posted a video of a performance of the Star Wolf theme from SF64 on an organ!
Don't expect a tradional organ sound, though. This is an electronic organ that functions much like a synth workstation. It is programmed to produce orchestral sounds.

Project SFR
SF-O Member Psy_Commando is working on a Source Engine mod currently called "Project SFR."
The mod borrows from the SNES canon and Itoh Comic in addition to the main N64 canon.
Current plans include the ability to play as a Cornerian soldier.
From the project site:
Quote
The goals of this mod is to recreate the style, and the feel of the first Starfox games on a more modern platform to make it accessible for newer fans of the series, and for old school StarFox fans like me.
I plan to take the best of StarFox 1(snes), 2(snes), and to a certain extent StarFox 64, and tape it all together to create an interesting continuity.
That's more or less what the "R" stands for in the name "Project SFR" or "StarFox Retro".
Multiplayer is a possibility, and you can bet on SF-O hosting at least one SFR server if it happens.
You can visit the project site here: http://www.moddb.com...ject-sfr/videos
Also, here is the SF-O forum thread: http://starfox-onlin...-source-engine/
Both are good sources to stay up-to-date in this project.

Fan Feature #1
Hey there Star Fox fans, today marks the first of many installations that will involve featuring a specific individual for their outstanding artistic contribution to the fandom. This will include drawing, crafting, cosplaying, music, so on and so forth.
Today, I'd like to feature an artist from the drawing end of things.
This here lady is known as Audrey Morris. I stumbled upon her work shortly after starting a Star Fox Tumblr (seriously folks check it out, submit, etc /shamelessplug) and was blown away. Now, this isn't just your regular ol' fanart.
Audrey here has re-envisioned Star Fox as mech anime straight out of the 70's/80's:

Titled Galaxy Fighter Star Fox, she's produced several pieces of concept art, including the Star Fox and Star Wolf teams, James McCloud, several enemies (including Caiman!), and Andross himself. Of course, being a mech anime re-envisioning, there are mechs to be found...and they look dang awesome.

Now folks, I'm not much for anime-izing everything when it comes to fanart. But Audrey is a significant exception in her ability to capture the look and feel of the classic style, making Galaxy Fighter Star Fox a double package of nostalgia.
Please check out her Tumblr and her website and give her your support!

Fanstuff - Zoness Guitar Cover
YouTube user jam2995 treats us to his arrangement of Zoness from Star Fox 64.
Pretty high quality for a YouTube game music vid. I recommend giving this a listen.

Fanstuff: Corneria + guitars. Again. And a play.
YouTube user FamilyJules7x rocks out some Corneria on two guitars and bass with computer-driven drums in the back.
Also, Hampshire College put on a play based on Star Fox 64. Here is the trailer:
You can watch the whole play from a link in an annotation in the middle of the trailer.
Interestingly, Fox is played by a girl.

Fanstuff - Fantastic Mr. Star Fox
CollegeHumor recently published a well-made puppet animation. It is a spoof movie trailer where Fox goes all philosophical in the worst possible moments:

A Serious Star Fox Film Project?
While searching YouTube a few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a video containing a well-done arrangement of the SNES Map music.
What was noteworthy about it was the description, which contained a link to a Facebook page. The link was broken at the time, but has now been fixed.
The link leads to a Facebook wall created by Irwin Rathore, a graduate of the Toronto Film School, for a project he appears to be seriously considering: A Star Fox fanfilm. While there isn't any video, there is a publicly viewable project proposal complete with an intro storyboard by Ron Hobbs, who has done storyboarding for a few major movies, including X-Men, SAW II and Chicago.
The story appears to be heavily influenced by SNES and N64-era canon, and the proposal includes references to the Itoh Comic.
From the Video description:
Quote
And one thing for sure, Irwin is not pleased with what them they call filmers are doing with the video-games films."
This is the most serious SF fanfilm project I have seen, and looks like Mr. Rathore may even be trying to take it commercial. Let's give this project our support and spread the word! I really want to see this happen.
Note: Video not embedded so as not to distract from main post, it currently has >100 views, and is a good arrangement, so if you want some music, check it out.
Comments made by Mr. Rathore on the old site:

I have been dealing with Bill Trinen, Nintendo's Marketing director at the North America branch in early of February 2010 ( you can search him up). I have sent in the film proposal and synopsis, the beta music and a brief drawing to him on May 15 2010. His response is that he would look through it, and show it to a few developers (which i don't know who they are...),and get back to him with four months time. On October 8, 2010, at 10:27:42 PM i get an email from Mr. Trinen and stated the following:
" Thank you very much for your interest in developing a feature film based on Nintendo’s Star Fox franchise. Unfortunately, Nintendo is not interested in pursuing this opportunity at this time.
As such, we’ve deleted from our files our copy of the materials you prepared, but we will keep your contact information on hand in the event we need to contact you about the opportunity again at some point in the future.
Thank you again for your interest and efforts, but we respectfully decline your proposal at this time. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
Bill Trinen
Product Marketing Director
Nintendo of America, Inc."
So guys, i have no clue if Mr Trinen did "or" did not do anything with the project, so there for i did "not" get the reason as to why they weren't interested?
At this point I'm continuing with the project build up and will be going for "round two" some times in the near future.
At this this time i would like to thank you DZComposer for putting the interest of my project idea on your site, most appreciated and bring the fans together and support. I'll continue in working to bring more visual concepts and ideas on the floor, and anyone who has and questions on there minds, please, all that matter is "communication" in order to have the full trust, feedback and faith in oreder to make Starfox film a reality.
Thank you
- Director Irwin R.
