Hidetomo Komaki, the character designer for SFAs, has posted profile concept images for most SFAs characters on his website.
The images are available in the gallery.
Obviously, this is finalized art, not rough design development art.

New SF643D Trailer, Screens, Date?
New trailer and screens of the North America Localization of SF643D.
Also, there are some rumblings of the NA release date being pushed forward 2 days to Sept. 9 to avoid any 9/11 drama, but I have yet to confirm that, so take it with a grain of salt. I won't update the game page until I see something more convincing.

Star Fox 64 3D Launches in Japan
At the time of this post, it is 5:00 AM on July 14, 2011 in Japan, meaning that early risers should be able to purchase SF64 3D in the Land of the Rising Sun.
This also means it should be relatively quick to grab a copy from an import shop.
NOTE: If you plan on importing, the 3DS is region-locked, so you will need a Japanese 3DS.

New Star Fox 64 3D Trailer, JPN site launch
Forum user SilverXy7 sent us a link to a new Japanese trailer.
This trailer gives us a glimpse of Star Wolf on Fichina (Wolf is wearing his old-school patch instead of his new SFAs one), Katina, Area 6, Macbeth, Sector Z, and Sector X.
We also get to hear the re-worked Star Wolf theme, which has a slight 6/8 time feel to it.
Also, the Japanese website for the game has opened.

3D trailer for SF643D available on eShop.
The trailer I reported earlier is now available for download on the 3DS eShop. I recommend downloading it if you have a 3DS, as it has the 3D intact and can give you a look at what the game will actually look like.
Unlike the web trailer, this version does not put the gameplay footage in a floating box, but rather fullscreen so you can get a pretty good idea about what this game will look like.
Note that the video IS compressed, so the game will be a little crisper that it looks in the video.
