I am working on trying to block it, though it is a tough one to block. Hopefully, I will be able to block it and the the site speed issues taken care of.

Would blocking their IP solve the problem or is it more than their IP doing it?

Now, I don't really understand why it'd be so fluctuating really if someone is just hooking tons of connections. Are they just doing it on and off randomly?

Okay sorry, I had to.
Anyway, the site hasn't been very slow for me, well not unusually so. I recently downgraded in internet speed, so I might not have been able to tell. Besides the fact that when I load youtube videos I can barely browse the site.

Don't the Chinese have better things to do than clog a Star Fox fansite?

With slowdown beginning at roughly 11PM EST, things are back at reasonable speeds at 11:13PM EST. They become varied later but mainly retain a useable speed.

I wanted to keep that stuff internal for privacy reasons, but I may have to switch to something like Google Analytics. It turns out GA has a setting to prevent it from sharing data with Google's ad network. If I were to move to that, I would enable that setting. Note that Google Analytics does not mean AdWords or AdSense. I will NEVER put ads on SFO.
