Right, we don't need our mods to be here all the time. People have a life outside the forum.

We are currently doing some staff restructuring due recent events, so we might as well pull out more mod positions soon. If crazy can't take on the RP section by himself, we will just add another mod to help him, as simply as that.

Since I wouldn't dare quote that impressive wall of text for the fear of destroying someone's standard-sized screen, I'll say what I have to say; thanks for that, Fluxy. You've put things, in the past and the present, better than most people, including myself, could have! Thanks for pointing out personality traits that I would have never paid much mind to before, and I promise you, along with everyone else, that I'll live up to those expectations. Hell, maybe I'll do better than that.

But, being realistic, I respect your decision if you vote against me, but I hope that I can prove whoever did wrong!

Kage just because someone is not on all the time or never around doesn't mean they do not check into the site. Or that they cannot do a good of a job. I myself can probably be guilty of not being around all the time, but I do my best to make sure things are running smoothly. I do have a life outside of SF-O. I balance my time with full time courses, work, Search and Rescue, and medical training. I check SF-O from my phone, to receiving emails and other things.

We decided to choose crazy because simply he has alot of experience, and he is usually on multiple times in the day. To be honest being on all the time means jack squat. It is a matter of people actually contacting the mods if something does go wrong. We don't have every minute of our time to waste. We try our best. We literally work of your guy's feedback and we need your assistance. Help us do our job better by letting us know. Is a PM so hard to do?

Treat it as how the NSA, FBI, or even the Department of Homeland Security says. "If you see something, report it."

TL;DR We chose crazy because he has been a member for a long time, RPed for a long time, and can be smart and level about decisions that are made. Just being on all the time means jack.

Okay, it's good we're all airing our opinions, but I must ask the members of SFO to be careful about crossing the line from "airing opinions" to "bashing" someone else. If I see any harsh remarks towards crazy, I'll deal with you myself. Please be respectful and polite when expressing your opinions.

It's all well and good that you guys can openly talk about this, it's healthy for forum discussion. But please be careful, okay?

I can assure you that I was not bashing anyone and even tried to make it as clear as possible in my post. I simply wanted my concerns to be heard, and if he is willing to prove me wrong than by all means, he deserves to. The RP board is getting little to no attention these days and as an avid role player, I want to do everything I can to make sure we get more attention there and can keep it fun and enjoyable for everyone.

It's a shame that I've run out of "likes" to give for the day, but if I hadn't just about every post in this thread would be graced with one.

Thanks for all of the support you guys, especially those who voted [regardless of which option you picked], Red & Fox, and those who aired their concerns in this thread. All factors will lead to the better-ing of the RP section and I hope those days of teeming activity will return once more.

after reading the arguments for, i do believe my worries have been put to rest, which is probably why these descisions should be put to public debate as well as of the college of cardinals... i mean the electoral.... i mean the illuminati... I MEAN the mods

There isn't a better community than SF-O out there, especially multiplied by the fact that I get the chance to help out the one community that I'd never be able to get through a day without. Thanks for all of the continued support, guys!
