Teams: I tried to split the good players evenly, but it may not be. If you have any concerns about these teams, say something ASAP.

Alternates WILL get playtime, so don't feel left out. Also, the highlander team will likely change. If we decide to join UGC, we will need to hold some kind of tryout for it. For instance, since Rob is still out, one of the alts will need to play Medic for Fox until he gets back. Also, we will rotate out from time to time. Everyone should get time on each class.

Also, I do not think replay and source TV can run together. SourceTV is the better option for this, so that will be the choice. SourceTV will record demos that we can review later.

No problem! I am actually kinda happy to be an alternate because I would rather like to just overall get better before being a starter by any means. Hell, being an alternate that actually gets play time is awesome! Thanks :3

I'd like to start today, but it largely depends on everyone else's plans.

Also, due to the way the configs need to be set, it will be a separate server. It will be the old TF2Ware server's IP Address if you still have that in your faves.

Well, I can just plan to do my errands earlier than expected then. Hell, even if all the people don't get online and it doesn't happen, I can still use that time to nap or draw or something.

And I don't believe I have that, so if you do post it, that'd be appreciated, but if not, I think I can siphon it off of Milky, cause I think at least he'd have it.

Yeah, I never had the TF2Ware server myself so I'll either need to get it or just follow everyone else in and then add it to my favorites. Either way works for me.

alright so tonight at 7 on the tf2ware server...... im not reall understanding the difference between fox and wolf teams though... do they both play together or are they like totally different teams? also um i might be a little late cause AJC will have to invite me to the game

but im pretty sure i can make it if i finish my homework and projects and other crap

Well, in competitive play, the starters, unless one of them can't make it then an alt that can somewhat fill their slot, will all be on the same team. But since this server is just for practice really, they are probably just fun names since you can't all be on the same team in practice. It is still a Star Fox server mind you. xP

Also, DZ, If I could suggest some way for us to communicate during practice that isn't the voicing through TF2. Skype, or some other call method would be great because I don't know if it is just me, but I can't clearly understand people on my end when people talk through TF2's one.

We'll be playing an an SFO server, but not the normal one. I'll probably just be following Milky or Shrooms into the match, since I don't have the address myself. And yes, just a practice. I doubt we'll do any real comp stuff for some time.

Not even Practice Matches either to be honest. Sure we might, but overall we together need to get to know how we all play, develop a sorta community bond in game and become a team, so probably just do simple pairings, do team off with specific goals. Like, for Scout maybe, the goal for them in practice would be not to fully get kills, but sometimes distract and displace a team.

So yeah I guess then. Simple drills and practice runs overall, at least, I assume. And yeah, Xort is right in saying we are playing in one of the SFO servers. If you add one of us on Steam, and simply follow us get into the server, you'll be all set and good, no doubt.

Okay, did so, and just confirming, that is the SFOCast Gaming, or the other?

Fun stuff, although once again my throat is not happy with me and all my talking. I suppose I'll just get used to it eventually. Turns out I'm a bit better at Scout than I thought.

It was magical. I loved the communication and strategy involved.

EDIT: Although I have a few beefs as well. Namely, communication. My team was for the most part very airtight and talkative, but I got complaints that the other team was quiet and/or not listening to intel. It's been said before, but a mic is the best weapon a comp player can have to the point of it being all but necessary.

Also, Xort noticed a lack of teamwork in some members. I just told this to User, so have some pasta;

General Milky: On warmfront, we had a ton of teamwork that actually involved separating. Our plan was thus;
General Milky: I would travel with both Soldiers, and Xort would run ahead with an overheal. His job was to either force uber, pick you, or at least cause your soldiers to waste precious ammo shooting at him. By the time I and the soldiers arrived, I'd have uber from their self damage.
General Milky: I'd then deploy it on Xort, who is usually in red HP, and juggle it between soldiers as I noticed them being targeted to wipe you guys.
General Milky: Then Xort would run ahead to back cap and/or repeat.

The other team, we noticed, was too cautious. Medic was stingy with uber, Scout did very little running ahead, etc. Try to plan and think ahead more often about EVERYTHING, and TALK about it.
