Deploy
So which upcoming console excites you the most? The Wii U, the unnamed PS4, or the unnamed "NextBox" (based on current knowledge of the companies making them and the consoles themsevles). I'm personally the most excited for the Wii U. Nintendo consoles always make me go insane. That thing has a lot of potential and looks like a real gamer's machine compared to the Wii. Hopefully 3rd parties will also have a better time with the Wii U. I also can't wait to see what Sony dishes out because I always love what Sony makes. I'm the least excited for the "NextBox" (Xbox and Xbox360 are good, but my least favorites of their respective gens), but I look forward to seeing it nonetheless. The Shaper
Probably the WiiU because Sony games don't actually excite me and probably whatever game on the new Microsoft system will also be available for PC. Also I'm still waiting on Zero-Three. So, bring me another Kirby game :U.
Dublinthefox
I also can't wait to see what Sony dishes out because I always love what Sony makes. I hear there isn't going to be anything for the next PlayStation anytime soon, well except for the Vita. The people in charge said that they wanted the PS3 to be a 10 year system. And thank god for that because I just got my PS3 for christmas and I Really don't feel like being ripped off. Deploy
Gee. The Wii U sure is popular around here. MAH BOI! This Wii U is what all true warriors strive for! I just wonder what Microsoft's up to. Your majesty. Microsoft and his minions have seized the island of Sony. Hmmm... how can we help? It is written... only Nintendo can defeat Microsoft! Great! I'll grab my huge touchpad controller! There is no time! Your awesome HD Nintendo games are enough. SQUADALAH!!
Scourge
Were all Starfox fans (if thats a lie then your existance here is a lie whoever isnt (THAT SO DIDNT MAKE SENSE!)), and therefore all likely grew up with the nintendo consoles, therefor our side in the console war is either rooted, or stands in Nintendo. Nintendo -------> Wii U Also: PS4 is apparently supposed to be a 10 year console... good luck with that one sony, hope your enjoying mediocrity while nintendo once again prints money with new consoles. thehorrar
Wii U hands down. Hopefully they display in higher quality with this system. I'd love to play whatever is the next Zelda game in HD.
CrypticQuery
I'm torn between the PS4 and the Wii-U. On the one hand, HD Nintendo exclusives as well as multiplatform titles are always nice, though the controller and addition of Wii-mote compatibility really throws me off. It seems that the Wii-U doesn't know what it wants to be; whether to go fully hardcore or continually support the Wii's casual atmosphere. While I'm not saying that a side must be chosen it just seems odd that Nintendo's new console is supporting old peripherals. The PS4 has me excited as always, though; I have owned every Sony console when they have come out and I've never been disappointed; great exclusives, exemplary looks and build-quality, and a fun experience. Here's hoping they can get the price right this time. Also, I will be building a PC in the future, so that's also something to be excited for. Mods extend the life of games so much! ^_^
Drasiana
I'm...totally fine with every console we have now and don't really feel like we need new ones yet, to be honest, except maybe the Wii U which MIGHT improve on the general mediocrity that was the Wii. However its giant clunky controller-tablet-thing is kind of a turnoff for me so far; at this point the only thing that'd convince me to get one would be a slew of must-have titles (probably including this rumoured Retro-Star Fox)
Icy
Definitely the WiiU. It will be the biggest change and have the best exclusives. Of course, the PS4 will be amazing too. Sony is so awesome, but them and their "10 year lifespan!!‎" thing is really annoying. It's time for a Playstation 4, Sony. Admit it. PS3 hardware is way outdated and developers are severely limited. Something like Battlefield 3 would definitely love a PS4. It barely runs in its dumbed-down version on the current PS3 hardware. Naughty Dog said they will continue Uncharted if fans want it, and if there's a way to "push the medium forward" (or something to that effect.) With Uncharted 3, they reached the top. Gonna need something new soon or no more Uncharted. Bleh. I'm sure the PS4'll appear before 2015 (10 year mark) but jeez, I wish they would hurry up with it…… Haha, all this talking about Playstation makes it seem as if I'm most excited for the PS4, but I'm not. The WiiU really looks wonderful and I think Nintendo has taken a step in the right direction. Bright future ahead for them and their fans. Both the PS4 and WiiU are day-one buys for me of course. Microsoft? I couldn't care less.

I think I know the reason why there isn't going to be a PS4 anytime soon. There just isn't any new breakthrough in gaming technology for it, unless you mean for it to have a higher processing power then maybe.

If they can almost pack a PS3 into a Vita for $250, they can certainly give us better console hardware for $300.

CrypticQuery
Both the PS4 and WiiU are day-one buys for me of course. While I would love to buy each console at launch it really equates to the price of each. Here's hoping Nintendo can hit a sweet-spot with its Wii-U pricing; they have to pull back the core gamers that most likely migrated away from the Wii. And while I'm sure of it, I can't help but to worry about Sony's 599 US DOLLARS debacle; they simply cannot afford to make that same mistake again. Geo Stelar
I'm pumped up for the Wii U. I've always liked the Nintendo-exclusive games (Mario, Mario Kart, Star Fox, SSB, etc.) and I'm excited what new games from those series Nintendo will make for the Wii U. As for PS4 and Next Box, the only things I'm excited about are SoulCalibur, Gran turismo 6, and HALO.

Thundercracker
Well, I voted for the Wii U. Mainly because rumors have it that it's supposed to be more "powerful" than a 360 or a PS3, so Nintendo is turning it up a notch, or two. Also, I don't know if it's going to be free, but I heard that the online gaming is supposed to be way better. Hope they come out with a sequel to SSBB. I heard some other bull shit that the new Xbox console is not going to be able to play used games, which if that's so, they might as well just stop the system in its current production, because that's a bad move. Or on the other hand, may make sales go up, unless people would make the choice of keeping their 360's and just playing games on it. But who knows what's going to happen with Microsoft? They may surprise us, as they usually do. I haven't heard anything from Sony, like seriously, nothing. Oh wait, something about a project codenamed "Orbits", I think? That's about it.
