Ramuza
ahh I remember when I played this in the SNES days.. I saw it lying in my closet with my old SNES system too... so I plopped it in and started playing it again.. ahh the memerable battles and the unique Geno and the story.... I saw a file that I didn't quite remember, I knew it was my file since it had my initials but it had something else on the file name too, heres what it was... ARtera .. so I was wonderin what I did in this file... I noticed I was in Monster Village.. had Mario lv 28, Peach lv 24, and Geno lv 24... didn't remember what armor, weapon, or accessories they had... well I ran around into each doorway in the village, until I ran into a door that then said your crystal started glowing door unlocked *something like that* and then I went in and met Culex... then everything went back to me.. as Culex then Kicked my a** over and over and over and over again.... I later checked all the weapons and accesories and armor, then went to game faqs and noticed they were all the ultimate and second bests... I really worked hard on itagain and finally killed his a**... then I turned the game off and is now posting this now.... yep and for anyone who doesn't know the culex battle of Super Mario RPG heres a video... Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg5NbeFMP3k&search=Super%20Mario%20Rpg%20Culex Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtdqQBS0o7o&search=Super%20Mario%20Rpg%20Culex anybody here remember this battle? ahh I really hated this battle
TakeWalker
What? Culex was easy. Mario, Mallow, Princess. Give the Princess the Lazy Shell armor and the thing that protects her from magic. She's immortal, and can revive your party indefinitely (so long as you have FP). You don't even have to be max level. Goddammit, that game was sweet. I wish they'd revisit it. Ramuza
actually I didn't remember giving lazy shell armor to peach... kinda why I died when I replayed... I didn't really remember all the moves and abilities... and how to double the affect... I think the lazy shell armor was on Geno on my game... also I was just all going attack and used items I forgot Peach was a healer... though, its been a while since I played the game... Im going to play a new file anyway lol... yeah they should revisit it! Hey NINTENDO!!! make a remake of this game on the DS, make it a little harder too!! TakeWalker
No! Remakes are bad! Say it with me now: sequel. They gave us so many awesome characters and then just tossed them away, I'd really love to see them again.
Kal
Well, we probably won't see Geno again (unless, y'know, they use a rehashed plot, and we DON'T want that). In particular, though, I'd love to see Johnny again.
Ramuza
ok, SEQUAL!!! lol and I'd like to see Johnny again as well too!
TakeWalker
Johnny and Geno are the ones I think of primarily. Mallow, too, as well as Booster and Valentina. Seriously, I really fell in love with that game after I beat it the first time. The ending is just fantastic.
Kal
Ah, forgot about Booster. Valentina...bleh, didn't really care for her.
Jaith
actually, interesting thing.. when watching the credits of Mario and Luigi superstar saga (there was a minigame with Geno in it) It said that Geno was copyright Square enix... but they really should make a sequal for it, on the DS...making use of the touch screen in battle >> <<
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Man! This brings me back! But since Wii has that downloadable library thing, it'll probably be available for that, but NDS should have a sequal. Come to think of it Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi are acting as the replacements and by the next game, we'll probably see in the actual party and not cameos. Dr. Wilopolis
I hope the Wii'll let one download SMRPG. I loved it to itty bitty pieces.
