ummmmm. I really dont have many troubles with bosses. the only 3 that are bothering me are sephiroth from kingdom hearts, the oil sludge monsters from ff8, and that zombie monster in the cosmo canyons in ff7.

does that work?

hardest boss from my games...... I have to say the Omega Weapon lv 100 from FFVIII, note that I said lv100, the monsters level up with you so if your lv 24 monsters are lv 24 even the bosses, I was lv 100 when I fought Omega Weapon an Extra boss meaning he was lv 100! and for people that played FF games saying you can't go to level 100, FFVIII is the only FF game that lets you go to lv 100, confusing isn't it?

I find that it wasn't the boss that was hard, but trying to keep your rings up was the hard part

I was actually refering to SF45's post, but I know what you mean. I personally hate when you have to face the biolizard as shadow (non-super) that F***'ing overgrown excuse for a D*** lizard took me three full months to figure out how to beat.

Try facing mecha sonic and A giant Robonik robot. And if you don't attack just right you die instantly, you needed perfect timing for this one

I beat that one... hard as SH** without rings.

Thing was, I cheated to get there, you can put in controller codes on Sonic Mega Collection for GC to level warp. I just went straight to the end, that's one LONG game, Sonic 2. And there's no saving. You go all the way, or you restart ALL over.

Hardest boss battle for me... wasn't really even a boss battle, but was a TWO LEVEL EVENT, that was HARDER THAN ANYTHING ELSE.

Starfox Assault borrows heavily from this game, btw.

Defender for Gamecube. Story behind it is, aliens called Manti have invaded the Solar System. They've taken over Earth as their new homeworld, and you have to fight to regain control of the Earth.

Second to last level, on Earth, at Argentine Pampas. Basically, do stuff when you're supposed to. Then you get an unexpected mission, go investigate the HUGE (and I mean HUGE) structure in the distance. You could see it the whole time during the level, you just didn't know what it was. So you fly over there, I flew the Defiance for that level, not the fastest ship in the game, unfortunately... I was gonna need it. But it had firepower. So anyway, I fly over there, and there's little turrets on the legs of this structure. I blow 'em up. And then I turn around and I'm like, OH SH**. GET THE FU** OUT OF THERE!!!!!

Your alien equation for the day:

Manti Forge = Aparoid Hatcher

Basically, this wasn't just any structure, this was THE Manti forge, it somehow produced about, say, 200 enemies within a period of 5 seconds. Well crap, that's not cool. Basically, I snapped a 180 degree turn, and, since the thing's not the fastest AND none of the ships have a turbo, just rolled left, right, pulled up, pushed down, ANYTHING that would keep me alive from the flurry of laserfire from the aliens tailing me. YES, they can FLY. And it just so happens that they fly the EXACT same speed as the Defiance. Dang, that's a coincidence. Had I been flying the Retribution, I would have left them in my dust. Lucky for me, that was the last mission objective. I made a beeline for the Stargate and shot through it. The SECOND I got there, as the screen faded out as I passed through the Stargate, ALL the laserfire that had been shot from a second before converged on the EXACT location that my ship had once been at. WOW.

Next level: on the moon.

Basically, the beginning of the end, and the end of THE WORST STORYLINE EVER PUT INTO A GAME, in my opinion.

In a nutshell, hardest level yet. The Battleship Memory slides into the side of the moon, kind of like a docking station, and you need to protect the energy generators on the surface of the moon from Manti attacks, while powering the generators with fuel cells. HARD to do. VERY HARD. But the thing is, once you have at least four of about 6 generators left at the end, with power to those 4, you win. And you also lose.

Why do you lose? It's because this is the WORST STORYLINE EVER PUT INTO A GAME. Duh. Basically, the Battleship Memory uses the generators' power to power its main engines, forcing the moon into the side of the Earth in a last ditch effort to destroy the Manti menace. End result? Earth is destroyed. Weren't you supposed to SAVE the Earth? Oh well. Nothing you can do NOW.

Wow, what a storyline. Too bad if I spoiled it for you. You can get the game for $10 now anyway. FUN space shooter, but really CRAPPY storyline, as you can see. So you beat the game, but you don't really win. I see it as you fight the Manti at the very end as a boss, and in the end, just when you think you've won, you destroy the Earth and by doing that, destroy what you came to save. Did you really win?

I tend to get a bit worked up over that game... because of the storyline.

geez that game must have some issues for you to get that mad,

on a lighter note, I used that cheat on my genesis the first time I beat it too, but then I went back and beat it normally.

beat him easilly, I died the first time, but I noticed that before he shoots the beam the master emerald stops flashing, thats when I jump! easiest battle for me! I even cheated to play as Knuckles on that battle!

------------

now I figured out a new hardest boss, FFXI's Ozma, its hard enough hes lv 99 but I can't reach him! the only way I can hit him is with either Vivi's Flare, Meteor or Doomsday spells, Armrant's Throw ability, or get my characters to Trance (Limit Break) to hit him, I even gotten them the most powerful weapons in the game! Ozma always get my characters Cursed, poisoned, Sleep, Petrified, or silents me! or sometimes all at once! his attacks can kill me in 2 or 1 hits! he also uses Relfect on himself preventing me to cast devestanting spells on him, even uses CUraga which heals him 9999 of his health back, his health is over 150,000! he also can attack two or all of my characters at once! he can even use Ultima, Flare, Metoer, and Doomsday spells... argh I can't beat him!!!

you must be talking about Sonic 2, since Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 had Giant Robot Rotnick in it, are you talking about the old sonic games?
