Scourge
So apparently EA got their grubby fingers even further into the wonderful Mass Effect series, but seeing as I fail at explaining things, ima let Totalbiscuit do the explaining on the matter. Will this prevent me from buying it? Unfortunatly no... Damn you Bioware! why didnt you just pair up with some other non-evil publisher!
CrypticQuery
This is why I cannot stand DLC. Instead of using it to add things to games, developers intentionally take things out or release a final product that is missing things. Those missing items are then released as DLC and charged again for. Not all companies do this, but Activision and EA are notorious for it now. CrypticQuery
Here's an N4G article that sums up things nicely; http://www.gameranx.com/features/id/5179/article/unacceptable-mass-effect-3-strips-core-content-for-paid-dlc/ Evidently they are cutting a large plot-point and predeveloped segments to sell as DLC. I'm not well versed in Mass Effect's storyline, but cutting out bits and pieces that were already developed is ridiculous.
ballisticwaffles
if anything they would be cutting DLC charecter's parts of the story out for more DLC. stooped wankers. Bioware, not you guys.
Scourge
Oh, okay, apparently they did it after the shipped game was actually finished, during that time when the product was being printed and placed on CD's and distributed.
