Mario Kart 7

So it's been out for a while and I picked it up not too long ago, discuss.

All I have to say is this game is a step in the right direction, the wii version felt crowded and annoying to play due to some of the annoying new items. 7 cut all that out and went back to the basics. My only real gripe is that the blue shell still doesn't feel like a balanced item, it needs to travel on the ground and hit EVERYONE ahead of the player who fires it, which it seems to only do in multi-player but not single-player, go figure.

Anywho, anyone interested in having races, I'd be down for opening a group for us to race in.

Yeah, MK7 is a step in the right direction for sure. MKWii and its 12 characters, noisy, crowded races, everything was just so annoying and bleh.

MK7 is very good.

I don't think Mario Kart will ever reach the heights that Double Dash!! did, though. It was just a perfect game in every way…

Can't wait to see what MK will be like on the Wii^U, though!

I'll challenge you guys to a race sometime, though, sure. I love the game.

lmao yes the blue shell now returned to being on land makes it almost impossible to dodge it.

I think Mario Kart 7 is great, but just as Icy said, no MK has yet surpassed the pinnacle of the series, Double Dash.

of course, my favorite will still be the DS.... at least for now (I haven't played MK7 as much as I have played the DS)

This game disappointed me actually.

The single player vs mode isn't there(which is the highlight to Mario Kart games nowadays to me), the battle mode sucks, kart customization doesn't feel very detailed to me.

Nintendo even stated that they would not patch the "online experience-ruining" Waku glitch....which saddens me. And yet they're going to make dlc available for 3DS games?
