Nintendo 64, portable edition!

I don't know why I didn't post anything here about it, but I'm working on a console mod currently for my Senior Exhibition project. It's a very important project, and, I'm quite embarrassed to admit, I haven't started building it yet. I have most of the parts I need, but I also really need some help. This Nintendo 64 is currently sitting in pieces in my workspace, along with a DVD player for the screen, and a shell to a laptop for the speakers. I'm hoping to update this thread with my progress, and I'll let you guys know if I pass.

I've seen a few of these on Youtube of various designs. Some of them are really good, others... less so. Hope yours is good!

That's pretty darn cool; here's hoping that your project comes to fruition in a timely manner, and you don't fall victim to intense procrastination.

After all, when everyone else walks around with their smartphones, 3DS', and PSVitas, you've got an N64! :)

So I ended up getting the screen working off a 9 volt battery. I know it turns on because it lights up with the battery attached, and I know it works with standard analog video input because I attached the wire to my PS1 and it displayed the video. However, it's a tad shaky, but that's almost definitely because I was holding the wire to the plug. Anyway, all I need now is a Lithium Ion battery to power the system and I can solder on the video and power wires.

The Nintendo 64 I found out powers five volts already to the screen, if this screen I have can run off of 5 volts I'm golden, otherwise I'm going to have to hook up the battery to the screen, a longer and more complicated process.
