Gestalt
I use both search engines equally...but which do you think is superior? Plz tell if you use something entirely different instead...
Fluxy
Huh, I've honestly never used Bing. I use Google mainly because that was what I was taught to use for help, questions, and what not. I'll give Bing a look today and comment about it later on when I get a better opinion on the matter.
CrypticQuery
I always found Google to be organized better as well as having a superior interface.
Geo Stelar
Google Why, you ask? I always found Google to be organized better as well as having a superior interface. ^ This, and the colorful lettering :-)
Wes
Google would be superior if it didn't track every single click you make while using its products. But I already live in a totalitarian state, so I might as well keep using it.
Icy
You can't really say Bing is overall better than Google. They have everything Bing has (which they just copied from Google) and much, much, more. I use Bing from time to time, but they never win me over because, well, Google is just as good at what Bing does, and Google has way more features. For one: Bing has maps, with pretty good satellite resolution, buuut… Google has maps, and they are in the process of upgrading to HD (you can tell, zoom in and a lot of places are super clear now) AS WELL as Street View. I was using Windows 8, and saw "maps" on the main start menu, so I clicked it to see how Bing's were, and it was cool to scroll around. Nice interface and all, but I constantly found myself trying to drag the little street view guy down and see what this street looked like. Google has a lot more features outside of maps. So as I said before, really, Google is overall superior.
Peter
I like Google better. I've only used Bing once, and it was way too confusing and hard to operate. It was really slow, too.
Fureox
Bing is slow and I didn't like how it embedded itself in my computer under fake names to try and hide from being deleted.
Rin
Never really cared for Bing. Google's my choice.

Gestalt
Google, definitely. What's Bing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1AwFY6MuwE ya know...more people use it than you might think.... I for one prefer its image search engine over google's also bing gives me perks for my xbox360...its always nice to snag a few extra microsoft points just by preforming a search. ThePointingMan
I've always had a deep hatred for Bing due to it downloading itself and replaceing the google part of my toolbar. Anything that gets in without my permission is not OK by me > Even if it was my fault for not thuroughly reading the installation of another program. Geo Stelar
Everyone of us here states only their opinion, but no one have yet guaranteed which one is better. The solution is simple. To know which one is superior, search it on Google, to see what it thinks. :troll: :troll:

sroberson
I'm unsure of the deep technical details on the search engines, but I feel that Google has probably put more thought in the algorithms they use in calculating search results since its basically the bread and butter of the entire business. Microsoft jumped in to try and gain some recognition in the search engine department and failed pretty hard like their Zune. Also, if I am not mistaken, Microsoft got caught with having ripped off Google's functionality in their search engine. Other than that, I have to give my props to Google for having the Easter Egg of typing in "do a barrel roll" in the search engine deserves a million internet points. Thank you, Google. Now, Microsoft, trying to sneak in clauses in software installs asking if I want to install Bing bar...bad Microsoft. Bad!

Sarita
Bing isn't a verb. Google is. When it becomes common practice to use Bing as a verb in the same way we use Google, then and only then will Bing be a competitor for Google.
Gestalt
Google. Is this even a contest......?
