Vokun laughed. "Come on, the replicators are over here," he said. He marched off the bridge of the runabout, toward the aft of the ship, to a sort of meeting room. Three replicator stations lined each of the opposite walls, and Vokun stated, "If you can think of it, the replicator can cook it up. Go ahead, try it." He directed his next comment to the replicator he was next to.

"Computer, one plate of Hot Chicken-and-Alfredo-Pasta."

The replicator flashed momentarily, materializing the requested food, and Vokun turned around with a steaming plate of Chicken and Alfredo Pasta. "Nifty, eh?"

"So... what do you two think?",Vanessa asked, after Vokun and Geo left, trying to start up a conversation.

"Wow, haha, pretty cool", said Geo.

He looked at the replicator next to him, then said, "Computer, two servings of lasagna, and one of a tuna macaroni salad, please"

Then after about 3 seconds the foods he ordered materialized in front of him. He got a tray and put the 3 plates onto it, then went to the table Vokun went.

"Haha", he said to Vokun, before starting to eat. "If only they have those replicator things in Cornerian restaurants, no one would ever complain again."

"The only problem with replicators" Charylin said, asking for tea with milk and a hint of lemon. "Is that the end result is your product, but not." She sipped at the Quite-like-but-not-tea. She grimaced, muttering under her breath about always having trouble with that one. "and nothing beats fresh food, lemme tell you that! Replicators dont have that handled kind of taste. they dont retain any local flavor."

She sighed and sipped her tea. Limping back to her seat, she caught veronica's question. "ABout this criminal? Truthfully i was hoping to have a hit put out on him, but most the family's wish to have a live let live policy. I decided to take this apon myself. Waddabout you guys?"

"Oh, that's a bit sad", said Geo. "This food tastes very close to the ones I enjoy back home. Anyway, about this mission. Well, you know, some agents just turned up and told me I was one of the few chosen ones to participate in a massacre case. At first I thought about it, mainly because I'm just about 5 days after graduating from the Cornerian Air force Academy. When I finally said yes, they instantly took me here. None of my friends or family knows about this. I, however, am planning to tell them bout it tomorrow or next week. I just gotta think how I'm gonna tell them without them worrying and come crashing wherever I am just to make sure I'm ok."

He then ordered a glass of pineapple juice from the replicator and got back to his chair. He must be so hungry, because he's already halfway through his second lasagna serving.

He turned to Vokun, then said, "So, how did they come by you and got you here?"

"Me?" Vokun asked. "I was approached by an Alliance Colonel - told me that I had been assigned to a critical case. He explained to me that I had been chosen because I knew the territory, and I would be well-compensated for this. Personally, I was about to pass on the job when they mentioned..." Vokun paused, something obviously on his mind. "... When they mentioned I would possibly be facing off against a threat I had met before."

Even as he said this, Vokun's eyes betrayed a look of anger and grief.

"Then you know what we're up against, don't you",Vanessa stated noticing the look upon Vokun's face.

Vokun sighed. "Possibly," he admitted. "I have met their kind before. They tried to kill me once, but I survived. But it was not without cost - I lost my entire team that night. I nearly lost my ability to walk, and I saw things that haunt me to this day." He sighed, then added, "They are an unseen threat, hiding in shadows, hunting their prey without tiring or stopping." He looked up at the others. "That's why I took this job - because it was my chance to settle a score started long ago. But remember - they are a possibility. Not certain. They may not even be involved in this at all - I don't know. Neither does Command. And we will find out soon enough."

Nora looked to Vokun, hearing his story. "No enemy can go unseen forever" She said, "Perhaps they're trying to lure you out so they can finish the job. Something we won't let happen" She added, not interested in eating at the moment. She was more interested in trying to make sense of what was going on, the current situation. Having been in situations like this before, she knew what it was like, It's not just a fight between two enemies, it's an emotional battle as well. A big emotional battle.

"Perhaps," Vokun admitted, "Perhaps not. We will see."

Marauder continued to search the facility for anything he could find against his enemy. Apart from the hapless bastard he'd dropped at the tram station, there had been no sign of them - but even that could be deceiving.

"Emm," stated an artificial voice, "I am detecting a warp signature heading here."

"I know," Marauder stated. "I sensed them coming."

"I have control of the Cairn Installation's defenses," the AI stated. "I could easily destroy them; they're in a Danube-class Runabout."

"No," Marauder commanded. "Don't do anything. I have a better idea."

"So what have the murders been up to this point?" Charylin says, wobbeling next to Vokun. "Have they been aggrivated wounds? Have the victems fought back? or were they silently murdered in their sleep?"

"From the reports," Vokun responded, "They were a combination of all three, with the addition that some were blown out random airlocks, and some were disintegrated. A select percentage of them, however, showed signs of being cut to pieces by an edged weapon. That's why you're here; you may be able to tell us what weapon killed them."

"Alert," the computer said as Vokun finished his plate, "Approaching designated coordinates."

Vokun put his fork down and picked up his P3A2.

"Show time," he commented.

(Gonna get some sleep. Later.)

"If you need me to tell you how a disintegrated person died." Charylin says as she limps to her seat, her cane plicking off the metal wit every step. "Then there is nothign i can do for you" SHe sighs and sits down, already running though medical checklists in her head. The femer is a vital part of the Digestive system, right?

When he heard the computer's warning, Geo's inside squirmed. He didn't expect the time of arrival to be that long, but he definitely didn't expect this to be that fast.

He gulped the final scoops of his salad, then drained his pineapple juice in 5 seconds. He left his plates and glass beside Vokun's. He stood up and started to prepare.

His Water Jetters on his wrists hasn't been used fully before, and now is the time to put it to the test. He, however, changed it a little bit and moved the nose of the projector from the palms of his gloves to the side of the Water Jetters themselves, and it looked like the adjustment dials of a wristwatch. It works by combining Hydrogen molecules with Oxygen molecules at a very fast rate, producing water, then ejecting it from the projector at such high pressures that it can cut through the thickest of materials. However, since it collects the air molecules from the exterior atmosphere, and the fact that the storage is just as big as a thick wristwatch, the amount of water it can make, hold, and project is very limited, and such, must be used only in much-needed situations. So, just in case, Geo proceeded to the bathroom of the ship, then filled it with tap water.

When he returned to where Vokun is, he then prepared his weapons. His checked his BES, or blessed energy shield, and put it on his back, like a backpack. He put his Utility stick on a holster in his belt. When everything was in order he sat back in his seat earlier.

Vanessa stood up; preparing herself for what they might encounter.

'If that many people were killed I'll need this then', Vanessa thought to herself as she put on a respirator that covered her nose and mouth.

The USS Danube dropped out of warp speed just outside the Lennico Belt. Vokun took control and piloted the ship inside the field, avoiding the floating rocks. Not ten minutes into the flight, the Cairn Installation could be seen. Outwardly, there appeared to be no damage. In fact, the facility seemed to look like normal. Vokun approached the Cairn Installation, and opened a hailing frequency. "This is the USS Danube to any survivors of the Cairn Installation, if you can hear us on this channel, acknowledge this transmission."

All that responded was silence.

"Well, then, I guess that counts as our clearance to land," Vokun stated, pointing the craft toward one of the hangars.

When Vanessa spoke her voice was a bit distorted from the respirator's speech enabler.

"Here we go" She thought out loud.

Geo stood up as the USS Danube started to land.

'This is it. My first mission. Good luck to me!', he thought.

Marauder One watched as the runabout landed inside the hangar. He had an earpiece in his radio, so that when his AI spoke, it didn't give his position away. His feelings, as far as any Jedi could sense, were a jumbled mass of anger, hate, and rage, seemingly radiating from everywhere at once - making it difficult for Jedi awareness to find out where he really was. His radio channel was also heavily ghost-encrypted. He was prepared.

Vokun landed the Danube inside one of the several hangar bays inside the Cairn Installation. The interior of the hangar was deathly quiet, and it made Vokun uneasy. "Hold on," he told the others. "I'll make sure it's safe." He stepped out of the USS Danube and carefully peered around with his P3A2. There were two particle cannons that stood guard over the hangar, and a control center up top for the three large doors before the runabout, all three of which were closed. "Clear," he called out to the others, motioning for them to come.

Geo came out next and he looked around. Sure looks deserted, but he felt that they're not alone. Who knows, someone might be watching over them right now.

"This reminds me of a haunted ship", Geo said.

Nora held her HK416 at a low ready position, crouched low as she exited the ship. The smell was quite familiar, reminded her of home. Outside, she cocked her weapon, ready in case a hostile should pop out.

Vanessa stepped out, 'this place is freaking creepy', she thought to herself as she looked around her heading towards Vokun.

"so what's the plan?", Vanessa asked Vokun through her respirator.

"I can FEEL the anger in the air" Charylin Snarls as she slowly makes her way down to the station, Her cane thumping the metal aside her. "The force is... Ugh... filled with the Dark Side"

She almost hissed out the last words, her eyes flying everywhere. "Let us quick be done with this cess pool of the dark side, i dont wish to loose another limb to its... corruption"

"Let's get moving," Vokun said. "Sooner we find out if Marauder One was here and where he went, the sooner we can get out of here." Vokun moved toward a door, and paused. Next to the door was a dead Imperial Officer. Vokun examined the body, then looked to Charylin as he found the death would of this man. "Charylin," he asked, "Do you recognize this wound?" he indicated an intrusion of the chest cavity left by two edged weapons that struck the man parallel.

(lmao it's my avi that did it!!!:trollface: )

Geo examined the walls and the ceiling. He didn't find anything that will let someone else watch over them. Not any visible means, at least.

And then the doors. They looked like someone was gonna jump out of them and attack them. But then, that was being paranoid.

Geo looked at the body Vokun was looking at. He didn't recognize the uniform but the badge tells that it was someone of with high rank.
