(In that case...)

Dovahkiin shrugged. "Very well," he said. Directing a command to the unit in the ceiling, he commanded, "Computer: release Kadgeron Force Field, authorization Delta-seven." In an instant, the shimmering Kadgeron force field vanished with a zzzwik! and the guards in the room lowered their weapons. "If you would, please - follow me," Dovahkiin requested. He headed up the stairs he descended earlier, and Vokun followed. Dovahkiin operated a computer nearby, and the room darkened. Holographic projectors powered up as Vokun walked inside.

"What are you doing?" Vokun asked.

"I'm going to show you the pattern to these attacks, and the possible next location for where our faceless enemy will strike next," Dovahkiin replied. He looked to the others present. "If you've questions before I begin, go ahead and ask."

"Aye, i got one" Chayrlin said, Crawling up the stairs on all three of her functional limbs. Her Cane was balanced on her back, wobbling and shifting as she stood, finding itself back into her hand.

"WHats in this for us? I mean, I was being paid to take you out or in, Now im afraid i must ask for compensation"

Nora nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I came for blood, gore, and money, and I won't be happy if I don't get my blood, gore, OR money." She said, giving "Dovahkiin" a look that seemed to be confused, bloodthirsty, yet somehow strangely calming at the same time.

"If it's blood and gore you came for," Dovahkiin said, "You'll get plenty of that when we find the bastard responsible for these messes. Hell - you wanna gut the bastard? Go ahead. I'm in this to make certain the Mikaarj don't threaten the Empire again. As for money - the Empire will be more than happy to double your pay for this. The Mikaarj were never a small threat."

"What about you?" Vokun asked.

Dovahkiin raised an eyebrow. "What about me?" he asked.

"What will you do once this op is done?" Vokun queried.

Dovahkiin shrugged. "Don't know," he said. "I suppose that once this threat has been dealt with, I will again vanish - after all, I am a dead man, according to the death report out of Moscow. Such is the way with operatives of the Shadow Dragon like myself."

"What happened in Moscow?",Vanessa ask interested in the subject as she walked in to the room.

"Double? thats it?" Chayrlin chuckled. She chuckled for a long while, watching Dovahkiin give his little presentation. She turned to go back down the stairs, waving to Vokun and the rest.

"You call me when we are ready to leave, im the medic, i dont need to know this stuff."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

She hopped down the stairs more gracefully than she ascended it, looking around at the court of Ulfric. The high technology stood out glaringly against the wooden backround of the Longhouse, and the aesthetics were off by a mile.

Sighing as she hobbled down the way to exit the castle, she stopped, feeling the eyes of the dinner guests on her. She turned a disaprooving head at them, almost daring one of them to whip out their weapons now that she wasnt immobilized.

Dovahkiin scoffed. "According to the report," he answered, "I died in a helicopter crash. Of course, the circumstances of said crash are... 'classified.' Suffice to say, it was an arranged incident to convince a certain enemy of mine that I was dead - and the fool played right into it." Dovahkiin chuckled. "I only wish I could have been there to see him arrested and jailed. But no, such as it was, I was recalled to Dragonaria."

"But you didn't arrive at your intended destination?" Vokun surmised.

"Correct," Dovahkiin affirmed. "As you already know, something knocked me out of the star lane and caused me to crash-land here."

Something about what Dovahkiin said lit a memory bulb in Geo's head. "The elder dragon also mentioned you have crash landed in here", Geo said. "But what exactly, 'knocked you out of the star lane'?"

"And do you know anything else about this new threat you're talking about? And their motives for the massacres?"

Something about what Dovahkiin said lit a memory bulb in Geo's head. "The elder dragon also mentioned you have crash landed in here", Geo said. "But what exactly, 'knocked you out of the star lane'?"

"In all honesty," Dovahkiin replied, "I don't know. The ship I crashed on was too badly damaged to get an accurate picture of what happened, and I was in cryo-sleep when it happened. Needless to say, however I woke up from said sleep, I was in for a surprise."

"And do you know anything else about this new threat you're talking about? And their motives for the massacres?"

Dovahkiin sighed. "In case you weren't paying attention, let me recite what I have already said; This new threat is a person somehow powerful enough to wake the Mikaarj, plague-bearing demons from Ancient Dragonarian times, from their eternal slumber. Furthermore, he has provided them with a ship to escape their prison. This implies one of two possibilities - either he controls them, or they control him. Whatever this person's motives are, I believe he is building an army of the dead." Dovahkiin hit a button on his console, and the holographic projectors engaged, displaying a star map. Highlighted were several locations - where the massacres had taken place, all the way to Cairn.

Pointing to each highlighted area, Dovahkiin continued, "Danube IV, Ke'tanti II, then he moved to another 'verse where he hit Eridanus Secundus, Joyous Exultation, and New Alexandria, then finally moving to this 'verse and hitting The Maw Installation, the outpost over Saleucami, the pirate base at Vergesso, and finally hitting the Cairn Installation. This is a person who has the capability to jump from one 'verse to the next."

"And if he's building an army," Vokun added, "He's got to have a sizeable fleet by now."

"That's not the only thing," Dovahkiin said. "These targets are also significant because they were all rife with life or ripe with technology when they were hit. By the time local forces arrived, every corpse had been taken - like what Geo saw at Cairn before you left."

"Diversifying the firepower of his army and fleet," Vokun surmised. "What is this person's motive?"

"Judging by the tech and people taken," Dovahkiin said, "I would conjecture that he intends to either build his army from the dead and steal technology like a parasite until he outgrows his coat and tries to take over whatever 'verse is his target... or he is building his army to attack a specific place, and I need not mention how manipulative the brain of the Mikaarj can be."

Vokun shuddered at the mere mentioning of this "Brain."

"Yes, you see the pieces coming together, yes?" Dovahkiin asked.

"But how did a Mikaarj Battle-demon end up here?" Vokun asked.

"I don't know - and neither did the Thalmor bastard who was trying to necro the demon," Dovahkiin responded. "But the trouble with the Thalmor - during both the first and second great wars - was caused by this faceless threat. The air about it smells of Sith involvement - but not like any Sith I had seen."

"So this is a Sith - or someone connected to the Sith - who has a lot of power and is pissed off for some reason," Vokun surmised.

"Or he's being manipulated by the Mikaarj," Dovahkiin said. "In any case, good ol' Paarthurnax identified a potential next target."

The floor thuded as Chayrlin landed next to Vokun, Her face flushed with something akin to both digust and malignent hatred.

"Okay, i heard The word Sith, Somebody tell me why i just heard the word SITH" She snarled, loosing her contemptuous mask in the presence of raw hatred.

Down below, people wondered just how the disabled gangster had cleared the entire flight of stairs in a single jump.

"I guess since the doors are open and that you not deft would be an explanation why", Vanessa said in a teasing ( slash :troll: ) manner.

"Ha" Chayrlin Deadpanned.

"Ha,Ha,Ha." She added wistfully, as if posing a question of almost forbidden veracity.

"Ha,Ha,Ha," She agreed with strength and an imposing hand on her hip.

"But poignent social commentary aside, If the Sith are involved in this, Somehow, then i am obligated to confront and end them"

Dovahkiin raised an eyebrow. "Indeed?" he asked. He looked to Nora. "And what of you? Are you willing to face down the Sith?"

She shrugged, "I don't care, regardless of who they are, I'll kill them" She said. Hard wired into her brain was death, ofttimes she obsessed over it.

Dovahkiin cocked a half-smile, then said, "Very well. This is our next destination." He tapped a button, and another star system was highlighted in green.

"The Sulenar system?" Vokun asked. "What the hell is there? That's in the middle of the Baargell badlands in Kemorainian space!"

"It's also home to a major research and development facility of the Marauder Corp," Dovahkiin stated. "The history behind the place is short - it was the same kind of facility, but it originally belonged to the Necromyan collective during the Marauder War. After the Dragon-Shifters found it, they launched a pre-emptive attack, and took the facility from under the Necromyans. But that's not important - what's important is that it houses a major technological work that could further strengthen our faceless threat."

"So what's the plan?" Vokun inquired.

"As I said, you all can easily pass off as mercenaries - perhaps because you already are," Dovahkiin explained. "You will move ahead, gain entrance to the facility. Don't harm anyone, though - merely find the head of the Facility. His name is Colonel Reess."

"He's not Dragonarian, is he?" Vokun asked.

"Nope," Dovahkiin said. "He's Kirn. He's the one who handed the Marauder Corp the facility during the war. When you find him, get him alone and pass on a warning of what's coming."

"What about you?" Vokun asked.

"I'll be under cloak - if the enemy does drop by, I'll fire off two shots," Dovahkiin replied. "If we're lucky, we'll be able to ID whoever's behind all this."

"And if he gets there before we do?" Vokun queried.

"We may be able to ID his ship," Dovahkiin responded. "Remember - he'll want to steal the technology for his army. The tech housed here will take some time to transport."

"Anything else?"

"Yes, just one other thing," Dovahkiin said, tossing Vokun a small information device. "You might want to upgrade to some better weapons - since we're up against Sith and Mikaarj, you'll need the extra firepower."

"Im not touching your filthy technology" Chayrlin Said, back to her snide and callous attitude. "I have all i need to kill the sith, and i will be the one to kill the sith. THey are my responsability and noone is to touch them until i get their heads."

Dragging out a puff, she heard Vanessa's question, exhaling and turning her attention.

"Sith, child, are evil. They do not have hearts like you and i. They have black cores that beat a viscous black liquid that corrupts anyone who as much as touches it." She lifted up her pant leg, displaying her necrotic and corrupted leg, filling the air with a taste of bile and mucus.

"They dont have souls, they have black shadows that steal away children at night. THey dont have emotions, they have only themselves and the malignency that goes with being a sith. THey are corrupt and they WILL be genocided by my hand. Trust me child, What we are going against should have an entire Crusade, by the grace of the almighty, against."

SHe lowered the pant leg and the air clensed, leaving only memories of the corruption present in those that saw.

Geo listened to the plan and when Dovahkiin finished, he looked at the information device Vokun was given and asked, "Does that upgrade weapons or just give us an entirely new one based off of our current weapons?"

He turned to look at Vanessa and said, "I don't know much but from what I know they are the sort of 'rivals' of the Jedi."

Dovahkiin frowned. "What, that thing? No. That's merely an information storage device to give to Colonel Reess. I was only saying you should pay a visit to the armory to upgrade weapons."

"I know child" Chayrlin sighed, smiling softly. Opening a case, she carefully removed a brand new cigar from its confines, snapping the case shut with a quick motion.

"Here, take it" SHe said, offering it to Vanessa. "Even if you dont smoke."

SHe raised her voice to THe Dovahkiin. "ANd what currency are we to use to buy these "new supplies"?"
