WolfoxOkamichan
The multiple characters aren't meant for multiplayer, you know.
ONE_HELLCAT
Well duh, now I know. But come on, you have to admit yourself that you would've loved to play as Wolf or something against people. The different stats would've made it interesting.
Kal
No, it wouldn't. Everybody would play as the broken one (ie, Wolf), and anybody playing their favorites (ie, Bill) would get their faces kicked in by just about everybody. For an analogy, how about playing multiplayer Goldeneye with the single-player version of Natalya with SP Jaws. Not good.
ONE_HELLCAT
Wolf's stats have been dumbed down a bit though. Bill would do pretty well I think against Wolf actually.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
You're all missing an extremely important rule of science fiction. You can never, ever assume that someone is dead until you see their lifeless body. Just the fact that James was shot down does not mean that he was killed. He's simply missing in action. Most of the characters believe that he's dead, but then again, they haven't seen the things that Fox has. Pigma's quote proves nothing. He was piloting the craft that shot James down, yes. Did he land and pull the body from the wreckage? Can we be sure that James never bailed out? One should also remember that Pigma is a bad guy. Why would he say that to Fox? The answer is obvous: to hurt him. Shake him up, make him angry, throw off his concentration. The fact that Pigma says James is dead doesn't necessarily mean it's true. You also forget Star Fox tradition. James has appeared in some form in every game since SF64. Even in Star Fox Adventures, one of the tokens you can find contains a message from James. There's no plotholes here, it's just an unresolved subplot. And all of you people who are pitching a hissy fit over this: You haven't even played the game yet. You don't know how or why James shows up. Most likely he'll fly in out of nowhere to help Fox out of a tight spot, say a few encouraging words, and disappear again. No one but Fox will notice in the chaos of battle, there will be more contraversy over whether he's alive or a phantom, and the mystery will be preserved. Perfectly consistent with the rest of the series. The fact that you can briefly control his Arwing in one mission is not the end of the world. You can't say that StarFox is ruined or that this is the worst game in StarFox history before you've even tried the game. Stop complaining and wait to see how it plays out. BINGO! Give this guy a thousand dollars..... I honestly believe that it quite baffling to keep bringing back a "dead" guy in the series. But nobody should make such a fuss over it.....I see it as interesting. Goodness, this guy is starting to become the next Elvis or Tupac...People still think he's alive when they know darn well that he passed away. (Or so they say.... )
Mr. Krystal
Don't forget that someone can be medically dead too, but come back. Edit: Not that I support James being back. Kinda hurts the "My name is Fox McCloud, you killed my father, prepare to die" revenge thingie.
WolfoxOkamichan
Wolf's stats have been dumbed down a bit though. Bill would do pretty well I think against Wolf actually. Huh? His stats are still the same.
Guest Krystal II
Not that I support James being back. Kinda hurts the "My name is Fox McCloud, you killed my father, prepare to die" revenge thingie. It can also be that Andross is dead for good now. So when that happens he won't need that sentance again...

Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Well, now fans can't say whoever uses Wolf is cheap. His stats are still good though. I wonder if Lucy stands a chance against him....? Ahem, I like that pose he has.....it's so....militant and bada**.

Kal
...Oh my, such horrible fanwork ideas stem from that... In reference to the plot...I hate it. Bad bad. Not that I like Slippy, but what it entails for the rest of the crew. Although...since when is ROB blue/grey/bley? ...Fox on a Segueway. There's one of those horrible ideas. Fox P McCloud
Also, evidentally Falco leaves Star Fox again...and this time he forms his own team of himself, Katt, and Ash. Star Falco here we come. As I said in another topic, it looks like Fox is going to be by himself...Krystal joins Star Fox, Falco leaves the team, and Slippy settles down for family life. That leaves only Peppy...and he's a General so... Of course, if they...knock Fox off, then it doesn't really matter that Fox is alone. I hope they don't do this, but you never really know. Fox P McCloud
Those are different kinds of spoilers. duh. Unrelated spoilers shouldn't be blurted out everywhere. I think the ending of a game has everything to do with series continuity. Also, you didn't have to read all of the endings, once you see what one is, you could have resolved not to look at the rest. It was entirely your choice...if you read a topic that has "SPOILERS!" listed in it, anything is game.
