Vy'drach
http://www.latimes.c...0,4799090.story This is a video showcasing what it would be like. They plan to retail it for $2-600 or so, and even at that price, for what it is and can be, that's a good deal. Provided they don't mess it up or find what they show in the video is impossible to do. Personally, this is my response.

sroberson
Inb4 dumb drivers sue google for crashing everywhere xD Ooh...I just thought of that issue I am actually extremely excited about the glasses. I would love to learn how to program for it, except i am not looking forward to the fact it is developed using Java. Guess I would have to learn the firmware software too...grrr... EDIT: As was mentioned later, yeah...I had a horrible vision of everyone walking around bumping into each other trying to write text messages and browsing the internet. CrypticQuery
These are no doubt an incredible idea, but I can't help but to think that the HUD will eventually seep into your subconscious. You know, where you take off the glasses yet still see the displays because of how long you've been exposed? [Think Norman Jayden from Heavy Rain.] Not to mention all the increases in distracted walking, driving, existing, etc. Nevertheless, it is an absolutely fantastic idea, one that I would hope to see developed and used safely in the near future. :)
!Corgi
I'll just wait for the Microsoft versions's release. Now Powered by Vista! There was a company that had something like this before, I saw it on something at CES, It was much larger and was intended for Construction sites ect.. And was powered by Voice Command (LOL Voice Command) This looks pretty epic though
