Wait, why are Kirby, Metroid, and Donky Kong on this list?

Kirby has had TWO Wii games, and a DS game recently. DKC Returns was a recent Wii game. And Wii and DS both got Metroid games.

Though, to be fair, Star Fox did see some 3DS love, but Remakes don't really count.

Sorry, but a new Mother game will never happen due to licensing problems.

Two words:

1) Not

2) Surprised

:troll:

Even so, I am refreshed and cautiously encouraged by these poll results. Makes me really hope Retro Studios is in-fact making a Wii-U Star Fox title.

I love how Fox is just standing high and mighty like the king of all games or something. xDD

I really do hope they make another game though, I'm looking forward to another platformer.

I would LOVE to see another StarFox title added to the mix. I assume we are talking about a proper sequel when we say revival? How perfect would that be for my StarFox-a-fest? As mentioned by DZ, StarFox got a little love lately but there are tons of 64 games getting love on the DS/3DS. I'm a huge fan of my LCD TV as well, so I want something I can play on the big screen. I think I'd like to see something that' s mostly in the mold of StarFox 64. I'd like to see a mix of Corridor Mode and All-Range Mode. I really love the two other vehicles in 64, so I'd love to see them add more of that. Maybe I am in store for that type of thing in the Gamecube games, though. I haven't gotten that far, yet. I don't know how they played out in the GC games, but I wouldn't mind seeing some 3PS-style foot-mode adventure levels as well. As long as the proper characters are all there, lay it on me!

Oh mannn...I just pictured playing SF64 on my big TV and got excited. I might have to join you in doing a complete StarFox-Fest if another game comes out. I will buy the bloody console and a bigger TV if I have to!

Good to know it's not just the die-hard fans like us who want a revival.

Let us hope Nintendo notice that poll and realize they still can get benefits from new Star Fox games.

Well, this is a bit surprising to say the least. I would love to see a revival of some sort though.

There have been a lot of rumors of Retro Studios making an SF game. They've been working on a secret project "everyone wants them to do" (their words) since early 2011, if not slightly before that.

IIRC it is confirmed to be on the WiiU and judging by the time it was announced, and when the WiiU is probably going to release, it will probably be a launch title.

Nothing else is known, except for various job listings from Retro that don't really help in describing the type of game they're making.

Recently Nintendo Power had an interview with them and NP hinted at Star Fox in the closing words… so it's not really known what's up.

Can't wait for E3!

Here's a topic on SFO that may interest you guys: http://starfox-onlin...ox/#entry351502

(Especially that post, and the thread in general)

Retro Studios making Star Fox is something I'd love to see happen, though frankly I'd be happy if we got a new SF in general! I'll keep my fingers crossed for when E3 rolls around, as I'm sure most of you will too.
