thunderflare
You guys probably already know about the new Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U. I was wondering if there are any character or features that you wish to see in the new game, like maybe something from the other Super Smash Bros. games. Here is something I would like Nintendo to do, keep all the characters from brawl and get rid of Toon Link. I don't want to get rid of Toon Link completely though, I'd like to see him in like a costume select under were you select the color for you character or something like that, I would also put Young Link in there as well. I also would do the same with other characters like Dr. Mario, I'd put him in a costume select with all his abilitys as well. From Melee I would bring back the achievements that you get during matches, like getting points for taunting and stuff like that. Another thing I'd like to see is the Gamecube controller being compatible, I'm hopeing but it's probably not going to happen, unless they make a wireless version of it. For new characters joining Super Smash Bros. I'd want Krystal, Rayman, a Rabbid, Spyro, Crash, and Tails. Thoughs are just a few characters but there the ones I'd like to see the most. This is only my third topic so I don't know how good it is. I also probably left some stuff out, but I'd like to see what you guys want from the new Super Smash Bros.. CrypticQuery
I would be swayed in my console choice for next-generation if a new Smash Brothers game does indeed accompany the Wii-U, amid rumors of the PS3's own iteration of a game similar to Super Smash Bros as well. I don't really mind the character/stage choices, so long as they keep veterans in and add new characters as well. I also do hope that they differentiate between these characters more so than they have already [i.e. Wolf, Falco, & Fox's final-smash.]
thunderflare
Well in the Nintendo Power magazine, they say there will be a new Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and I just found out it'll be on the 3DS too, they haven't announced a release date for it though. I completely forgot about the final smashes, I useally don't play with them on. I also think that the final smash need to be different and non of them being the same at all. jeth
Relly all I want is a few new characters; Shadow, Dark Samus (As long as it's not a clone of Samus), Spyro, Crash, Kyrstal and Slippy. Oh yeah and some more maps, (Apperoid home world )
Geo Stelar
I want new characters!!! Tails Spyro (from the original series) Dark Spyro Crash Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) Megaman (Either X, Zero, .EXE or SF)
sjrathbun812
Crash would be awesome to have in the new Smash Bros. game. I don't think I really want more Starfox characters, though. We've already got Fox, Falco, and Wolf. We don't need Peppy, Slippy, and Krystal as well. This is a Smash Bros. game, and there's only supposed to be a couple characters from each series. As for maps, well, I'm not really sure. It would be pretty cool if they added Corneria (Not sure if I spelled that right, lol,) as a Starfox map. Geo Stelar
(It's Corneria ) lmao imagine if Shadow or Silver the hedgehog is added to this game as Sonic's Sonic character companions. Their Final Smashes would be Chaos Control (Chaos Blast would be more awesome, though) and Psychokinetic Time-Stop, respectively
Xortberg
All you folks asking for all these characters that aren't from Nintendo games are likely to be sorely disappointed. I don't remember hearing anything about why Sonic was added, but I'm pretty sure I recall hearing that the only reason they added Snake was because Sakurai was a good friend with Kojima and did it as a favor or something. They don't just go adding random people from all over the gaming spectrum willy-nilly. It's a Nintendo game, and they really keep it restricted to Nintendo characters. As for the game itself, I unfortunately don't have a Wii-U or a TV to play it on, or the money to acquire either. I don't even have a 3DS. Really sucks, because I do greatly enjoy me some Smash Bros. But oh well, maybe by the time it comes around I'll be able to acquire it.
sroberson
I just had a cool thought of Banjo and Kazooie being a part of the new SSB...I think that would be pretty cool and have lots of possibilities for fun attacks Maybe a SFA Fox McCloud with the staff? I could see that in place of using Krysral..though I'd be cool with her being added to the game too and given her staff. It would add another SF character that behaves differently from the other 3 (though I do have to agree, maybe yet another starfox character would be overboard...but then again legend of Zelda got 4 characters so hey why not?) sroberson
Now THAT would be bad ass. Banjo Kazooie was an awesome game and they would make an awesome fighting duo. I know right? It makes me wonder a little why they didn't do that a while ago in melee. I think I would find myself with a new favorite character if I could shoot/poop eggs at people. I feel like its a character just screaming to be put in SSB with all of their little attacks like it was meant to be from the beginning.
Synapsepilot
My comrades and I joke about having Slippy as the only stock Starfox character in the next Super Smash Bros., and that to unlock the other Starfox characters you must play as Slippy for a ridiculous amount of time. In all seriousness, it would be interesting to see Krystal in the next game. Being able to change your loadout of attacks would be cool. How about changing a character's appearance, like being able to change between Fox's 64 uniform, adventures gear, or his assault flight suit?
thunderflare
Thoughs are all great ideas. I don't see why they can't add Crash and Spyro they've been on the Wii and other Nintendo consoles, and why hasn't Megaman been a character in any of the other SSB games he's Nintendo. I don't think they'll add Krystal either but one can hope, but it would be awesome if Fox had Krystal's staff or another version of Fox with the staff would be great, I'd play as him. I remember playing Banjo Kazooie on the Nintendo 64 it's a shame we haven't seen them in SSB yet. Another thing Nintendo could add would be discriptions of character moves, like how did Fox get his Firefox move, I like the move, but how did he get it. Maybe they could add different charater layouts like Fox with the staff and Fox without the staff or, like they did with Samus in SSBB Samus and Zero Suit Samus or, even a normal Luigi and a Luigi who is more dependent on the Vacuum cleaner, as in the characters have a special element from one of there games. StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
Wow, it has been a while since I have posted anything on this site. I must say this is very well organized, even more so than I remember it. Props to the Administrator and Mods. Now to get on topic. First, I would love to see Slippy become the new Jigglypuff as some point. LOL that little thing is so weak, it can't even... *uses REST* My reaction: "WHAAAAAAA---???" Second, the game (and SF characters with practically the same moves) JUST SCREAMS that it needs Krystal. Those who say she can't be in the game because of concern for what the younger audience views...well, there is Zero Suit Samus to ruin any bit of kid-friendlyness that was left in the series to begin with. Don't believe me? Compare ZSSamus from Brawl with her model from the original Zero Suit Mission video game, AND the 100% complete ending to Metroid Prime 3...might as well throw in Other M as well. Furthermore, Krystal is an anthropomorphic fox, a blue one at that. Haven't seen any of those lately. Blue fox would be cool site though. Still, foxes look cute and unrealistic when intended to act as a human. Samus is a human to begin with, no questions asked. Similar physical features create a problem for an animated human, but not so much for an animated fox. I just ranted badly.....In any case, I would like to have the ability to play a match with more than four combatants. I don't care if there can only be 4 human-controlled players. Have up to 8 combatants for intense 4 V 4 action (though I believe there has only been up to a maximum of 6 at a time if I remember correctly. No worries, the WiiU can handle processing speeds of the 360 and PS3 as Nintendo claims. If this is true, there should not be a problem adding more AI opponents at once....maybe except for the targeting ability of the AI. /sarcasm >>>gotta hope though. How about this? Have CPU AI actually fight one another in a FREE-FOR-ALL. I can't tell you how irritating it is to have played Brawl and ended up with 3 V 1....and I'm the 1. They pulled it off in the original and Melee....how did they screw up the programing like that in what was supposed to be a superior game??? (I know that wasn't a "feature" to begin with but...) Finally, the part I really don't like having to explain to people. The reason characters like Banjo and Kazooie AND Conker can no longer be used in a Nintendo video game is because soon after the release of Star Fox Adventures, Nintendo sold off its share of RareWare, the official owner of those characters, to Microsoft. That is why the XBox 360 had a re-release of Conker with better graphics. And let's not forget Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts *facepalm* So, in order to have those characters in SSB, Nintendo will have to ask Microsoft for permission to use RareWare's characters in their game. This of course in unlikely to happen, as Microsoft wants to do well in the video game industry, and will not simply allow Nintendo (a fierce competitor, i might add) to make a game that people want to buy simply because of the characters in it, and thus increase the amount of money Nintendo makes each year. I believe there is a licensing issue of some sort with Capcom, thus, the Megaman issue....Both are completely unfair situations as far as I am concerned, dont get me wrong. Before I ranted, I had wanted to make a few points. Before Nintendo starts adding characters from different series to try and balance out the character representatives per series, they should work on the current characters they have. They can add 4-5 characters this go around if they want but no more. SSB Melee had a problem with "Clone" characters who basically had the same moveset. We saw a similar issue in Brawl, where "NEW" characters still had similar movesets to the ones that already existed (Or comitted an atrocious crime and replaced Mewtwo with Lucario and called Lucario NEW). For MARIO and LUIGI this is alright...IMO because they are the Mario Bros. and all that good stuff. Granted, Luigi should use his vacuum at some point. If my memory serves correctly, doesn't SSBB have Snake and Sonic? (among other characters that Nintendo doesn't own) I am aware that RareWare, now Rare Ltd, was sold to Microsoft shortly after Adventures, and a damn shame too . I know Microsoft can be a bit of a turd, but I could see them being willing to scrap up some money by allowing Nintendo to use a character they own but nobody cares about, aka Banjo and Kazooie. So long as Nintendo pays royalties for the character I figured it would be all good. Only having experience with SSBM, all I can think of with the idea of 8 total players is "WUT?!" The maps were tiny enough for the most part - and the little I played SSBB the maps were even smaller and there was more going on. I am glad there is another Krystal fan that would like to see her in the next game. I really think her inclusion would be neat giving her slightly different attacks from Fox, Falco, and Wolf and a very different look. I also agree that the people worried about "indecent" exposure saw that ship sail in SSBB with Samus. If they wanted to be modest they could just give her the flight suit she has in Assault - but personally I would rather her in the tribal outfit from Adventures, the design team could find a way to keep it modest. When I read that I remembered playing as all the Starfox characters, them having pretty much the the same moves, and yes it does scream that it needs Krystal. I also don't think it would ruin any kid-friendlyness, got to remember Zero Suit Samus, and that SSB is a teen game. I think the game creators could make Krystal in her tribal outfit or Assault outfit or both and it wouldn't go over the teen rating. Now to get on topic. First, I would love to see Slippy become the new Jigglypuff as some point. LOL that little thing is so weak, it can't even... *uses REST* , I have to agree with this, Jigglypuff can't do anything and I'd be happy to see..umm it (maybe), was replaced by Slippy and in my opinion Jiggypuff was the weakest character in Brawl. I would like to have the ability to play a match with more than four combatants. I don't care if there can only be 4 human-controlled players. Have up to 8 combatants for intense 4 V 4 action With the Wii U more than four players, good idea. I would have never thought of that, mostly because whenever I'm Fox and blitzing the other guys with his speed, It sometimes lags. Mostly the reason for not thinking of more than four people for me. If my memory serves correctly, doesn't SSBB have Snake and Sonic? Yes, SSBB does has Snake and Sonic. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hey you guys remember the very special moves in Brawl, I can only think of two, gliding as Pit, Metaknight, and Charizard and the dair spike as Wolf, and Falco. Thoughs are the only ones I know about in Brawl, and I would like to see more of them in the next SSB and have all the characters having one. There is also something called a smash taunt, It's hard to use, and is only limited to certain stages and characters. The characters that can use them are Fox, Wolf, Falco, and Snake the characters can use the taunt on Lylat Cruise, Shadow Moses Island, and Corneria. It wasn't even a taunt really, it was more of a distraction. In the next game I would like all the characters to have a smash taunt that they can use easily on there own level, but they can only be used if you achieve something. The normal taunts I don't have much of a problem with, there good the way they are for the most part. If you want to know more about the smash taunts here's a link, tells you how to use them and stuff. http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/howto/technique/technique11.html Also I think ranting is perfectly fine, it helps to get your point across and I probably did my fare share of ranting above.

Dr. Mario as well And I strongly suggest replacing Jigglypuff with someone a bit more powerful, like Swampert or Sceptile, or just bring Mew Two back in. Salem
With Krystal here is a basis on how I think it should be... It should be Krystal from adventures. Up B: Rocket boost Down B : Magic shield B: Fire blast Side B: Ice blast Up A: Back hand vertical sweep Down A: Quake slam Left A: Left sweep Right A: Right sweep A: Strike #1; Right hand strike top of the staff, Strike #2; Left hand strike bottom of staff, Strike #3; Spins vertically to the side Hold A on strike #3: Spins continuously to the side Final smash: I think it should be a cinema trap style for one person by being next to someone pan zoom to her and the closest opponent, opponent disarm her of her staff with a simple upward kick. opponent punches she dodges grabs there wrist and kick them in the ribs with the outside leg (A cool Easter egg for this is if the opponent is Fox she knees him in the crotch ) then she throws the opponent over shoulder slamming them on the ground the staff comes back down she catches it and opponent gets up slowly and she knock them out of the stage. Smash moves are the same as A moves but you charge them and the Quake slam would have a greater range making it the upgraded version "Super Quake slam", C... you know how they work... Standards stay the same; grab, bubble shield, Dodge, etc. Taunts: #1: brushes her hair out of her face with a giggle #2: Spins staff to left, right and then above her head stopping in this pose #3: Strikes a fighting stance saying "bring it on"
thunderflare
^ Nice move set for Kyrstal Starkid, I've also been thinking if Nintendo does put Krystal in the next SSB, she should be in her Adventures outfit. Mostly because she'd be very different from the other starfox charaters and she would have a unique move set compared to the others. The final smash is right on and her taunts, perfect. I am interested in what you think her grabs and throws should be, remember Charizard's downward throw he shot flames in there face.
sroberson
I'm thinking some of the moves could be changed up a bit that StarKid mentioned. I just see her using her staff for more specials and for regular attacks. Allow her attacks to have a larger range since she has a weapon, revamp the way she uses her particular B-down shield maybe to behave like Ness'? B and B-side attacks could easily be revolved around abilities with her staff. I can't help but wonder how would she use a 'rocket boost' like 'Fire Fox' with as little clothing as her Adventures outfit is there >_>... I just believe if there is a possibility of getting another Star Fox character in the game, they need to be pretty different in almost every way. Of course, the only way I could imagine them giving her different abilities and not awkwardly allowing her to use her staff would be to put her in her Adventures outfit - which would be a challenge for the design team. If it were the flight suits from Assault or Command it would pretty much guarantee she would behave just like Fox or Falco (Not Wolf, since she is obviously going to be a light-weight for obvious reasons). If they must cut a character to make room for her, i'd vote Falco honestly. Can't cut Fox, and Wolf is at least relatively different from Fox. If they must cut a character to make room for her, i'd vote Falco honestly. Can't cut Fox, and Wolf is at least relatively different from Fox. I have to agree, if Nintendo does cut any of the starfox characters, I would pick Falco to leave too. What if for Krystals throws she used the end of her staff to fling her opponent, that could be you for the upward and backward throws. For a downward throw she could jab the opponent, then pole vault away. The forward throw could be something simple, like she tosses the player then shoot them with her staff once.
