New Super Smash Bros. Wii U

Snake and Sonic are from developers, they aren't in the console competition, so it's all profit there. Microsoft, however, directly competes with Nintendo.

Wouldn't Banjo and Kazooie be considered 'from developers' since Rare Ltd owns them? I may be misunderstanding something about who owns what characters.

But Rare was sold off by Nintendo to Microsoft; thereby making Rare a second-party studio for Microsoft. Is the Rareware name still even around, or have they been folded into Microsoft yet?

Also, a new Super Smash Bros game will have some serious competition from Sony from the newly announced Playstation All Stars: Battle Royal;

[Can't wait for that, by the way; I love SSBB and I'm glad to have more variety in that style of fighting game. That, and Sly Cooper is present. ^_^]

^ that game looks awesome, I might perfer it over the next SSB, my only reason the playstation controller looks way easier to use then the new Wii U controllers, I'm also not much of a motion gaming kind of guy. Although it they make a new wireless gamecube controller for the Wii U then I will like both game equally. Sly is going to be in Playstation All Stars, hmm... Sly or Fox easy, I'd still prefer Fox, I like Sly it's just I'd like fighting as Fox more.

Another thing, this wouldn't happen by the way what if Nintendo put Sly Cooper in the next SSB game, any opinions?

I highly doubt it. Sly has been with Sony ever since his dabut. His series is apart of Sony like Kratos and Sweet-Tooth. Thats kind of like wanting a Mario to have a game on the Xbox 360.

Ok, I guess that makes sense now. I haven't considered the business of subcontracting game developers to write for particular companies. Still, I think I would buy whatever console and game they want if I could play Banjo and Kazooie (and after playing more Brawl, so long as they get rid of F@#$%*! Olimar...)

.

Another thing I'd like to see is the Gamecube controller being compatible, I'm hopeing but it's probably not going to happen, unless they make a wireless version of it.

Nintendo did make a wireless Gamecube controller, it's called the wavebird.

I think you misunderstood Sideway, I was talking about a gamecube controller for the Wii U, I haven't seen that Nintendo is makeing one yet.

Any older system with wireless controllers, the controllers never seemed to last very long, compared to the ones with wires.

They probably won't.. the gamecube is now discontinued.. Even the wii no longer supports it. Unless you have one of the original ones, the new ones do not have gamecube slots anymore. It sucks.

I wouldn't mind seeing a wireless classic controller modeled after the GCN controller. The GCN really was the best traditional controller Nintendo ever made. It feels so nice in my hands, but for some reason they went all the way back to the SNES controller for the classic controller. I haven't used the CCPro yet, but I am not sure it will live up as it has the same flaw Sony's Dual Shock pads have: The damn D-Pad is in the prime thumb spot, and you have to reach for the primary stick. They had it right with the GCN.

We may see a new traditional controller yet for WiiU for multiplayer use. Fingers crossed.

@sideways, yeah I hate that Nintendo stoped putting Gamecube slots on the Wii it's just a way for them to make more money I think.

@DZ, I loved the Gamecube controller the analog stick was in the perfect place, and you could make slight ajustments with were the analog easily. The classic controller I didn't like, it alway felt uncomfortable to hold. I also hated the D-pad for the playstation controllers, but unlike the classic controller it is comfortable to hold the controllers. I agree, I really hope they make a new traditional controller for the Wii U.

In my opinion the worst analog stick ever was the flat thing they put on the PSP 1000-3000. They are making a new controller for the Wii U but I don't like it and that's all I can say about it. Here's a picture, hopefully they make something different then that, and just imagine playing SSB with that. From what I know all the Wii controller will be compatible with the Wii U, I still want a Gamecube style controller though.

Almost right with the gcn imo, the button placement on that thing sucked for retro gaming. I think a modified N64 controller would've been better for the classic controller.
