sroberson
Figured this would be a fun thread to start and its been forever since I started a thread. Simple enough, what concerts have you attended? Or what concerts would you like to attend or even have plans to attend? Styx (twice) - 2003 & 2005 Crooked X - 2007 Alice Cooper - Dirty Diamonds tour (?) 2007 Van Halen - Reunion tour 2007 Trans Siberian Orchestra - 2007 Five Finger Death Punch - Edgefest 2008 Disturbed - Edgefest 2008 AC/DC - Black Ice tour 2009 B-52s - 2009 Bon Jovi - The Circle Tour 2009 Ratt - 2010 Scorpions - Farewell Tour 2010 Ozzy Osbourne - 2011 Slash - 2011 Poison - 2011 Buckethead - 2011 (Ok, not really a "concert" but it was awesome enough! Look him up!) Guns N Roses - 2011 (All I can think of for now XD) I've been playing with the idea of seeing Rush in August or so...but the money isn't exactly there :-/ . Will probably try and see Tesla this summer
LoneWolf
It's kind of sad, but I went to my first concert last Summer. We saw The Protomen live, and it was amazing. This summer, I'm hoping to go see the likes of Kaskade and Porter Robinson, but it all depends on ticket prices.

Mellow Walrus
Only been to one before, a Metallica one in Nashville, where Lemmy from Motörhead showed up too for a bit. I think it was during their tour after Death Magnetic. Lately I've been wanting to go to a Dropkick Murphys concert, but Boston's quite a long way from here :(
Synapsepilot
Have only been to Star Wars in Concert. It was quite an experience, they had Anthony Daniels(actor of C3PO) there to do the introduction along with many props and costumes from the movies on display. the orchestra was spot on, plus they had a laser show to go along with the music. thunderflare
Sadly I've never been to a concert, but I did here about this one and wanted to go. I almost cried the first time I heard this, it's so beautiful and such a great contribute to Starfox. To bad Germany's to far away.

Lately I've been wanting to go to a Dropkick Murphys concert, but Boston's quite a long way from here For the longest time I wasn't a Metallica fan...but then I realized I actually was a Metallica fan its just I didn't like much of anything after Justice for All... I feel like everything Metallica did between Kill Them All and Justice... was the real Metallica before they sold out. Looking back, when there was a concert being held locally I wish I had went if for nothing else than for the memories (because honestly, the reunion tour with Van Halen kind of sucked but I still remember it fondly). @thunderflare Now THAT is awesome! Wish there were some symphonies in the States that would perform this. I think I would 'lol' a bit if a high school band could put it together and go to a competition playing StarFox theme songs. conaly
Hi, I've seen: J.B.O. mjakob42
Rockfest 2010 (Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Papa Roach, Hellyeah, Skillet, Halestorm, Dirtfedd [greatest day of my life]) Rockfest 2011 (Hollywood Undead, 10 Years, Escape the Fate, My Darkest Days, Screaming for Silence [utter disappointment]) Rockstar Mayhem Fest 2012 (Slipknot, Slayer, Motorhead, Anthrax, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, Whitechapel, Dirtfedd, I, the Breather, Betraying the Martyrs) Knotfest 2012 (Slipknot, Lamb of God, Deftones, Machine Head, Serj Tankian, The Urge, Prong, Dirtfedd) Roger Waters (x2 [2007, 2010]) Trivium (2012) Innerpartysystem (2011) Rusko (2012) Styx (x2 [2009, 2010]) Foreigner (2010) Kansas (2010) REO Speedwagon (2009) .38 Special (2009) Hatebreed (2011) All That Remains (2011) Van Halen (2007) Cannibal Corpse (2012) In 2008, I almost saw Nine Inch Nails (I even had a floor ticket), but my ride bailed on me at the last minute. At the time I didn't have my license, let alone a car, so I still have this NIN ticket with the stub still on it. Two years later, I was on my way to get a ticket to see Korn, but the radio announced that the show was sold out.
Fana McCloud
I went and saw Weird Al Yankovick at the Poppy Festival one time... that's about it. Concerts are usually way too expensive a thing for me, not to mention I have a fear of metal concerts because even though it's my favorite kind of music and teh only kind I'd probably bother seeing in concert, I fear the entire thing turning into a mosh pit on a whim and me loosing my glasses to a misplaced elbow to the face or some other ridiculousness - plus being squeezed into crowds like that throws me into super mega ultra anxiety land. LoneWolf
You know, I forgot to mention. Someday I need to go to this festival. It's a ways from Washington state, though. Biggest EDM festival on the planet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9u-vmk9iapQ

I went and saw Weird Al Yankovick at the Poppy Festival one time... that's about it. I feel the same way about metal concerts. Especially the newer metal bands or the really hard core ones form the 80s that people go all crazy about. Did you hear the rumor that Weird Al might be doing the Super Bowl half time this year? Not sure how credible it is, but that would probably be the one and only time I would remotely care about the Super Bowl or football in general.
