Etrian Odyssey 3

First of all, let me tell you a bit about the game.

Etrian Odyssey 3 is part of the Etrian Odyssey series.

The reason I bring it up is because of them:

From what I've heard, Etrian Odyssey is one of their hardest games. 3 being the hardest.

So don't be surprised if you hear me rant about the game.

Now that we got that out of the way:

I HATE KETOS (second boss)!!!

He can send my entire party to sleep, bind an entire row, paralyze a single member and do WTFhuge damage to everyone having one of those status effects!

My Zodiac (elemental user) can hit him for decent damage but that takes like 4% of his life away.

AFTER BUFFING IT WITH ETHERIC CHARGE!!!

Oh right. About my party:

Front row:

• Monk (healer)
  
• Hoplyte (tank)
  
• Arbalist (gunner)
  

Back row

• Zodiac (Elementalist)
  
• Ninja (Absolutely useless)
  

Why a gunner in the front row? 4 words:

Front Mortar

Double Action.

Front Mortar does huge damage when used from the front row. Double Action lets him attack a second time.

What about my ninja? She's the fastest so she can use items first. Also she has Kubikiri which can inflict fatal blows with normal attacks.

The bad: it doesn't work on bosses.

The good: FOE aren't bosses.

The bad: Ketos is.

She can also paralyze, sleep and poison enemies. Problem is, Ketos is a boss and is probably immune to those.

Also, if you manage to find the game and decide to play it,

Bring a Monk.

Bring a Zodiac.

I've wanted to get an Etrian Odyssey game for a while but I have no idea how to enter in on the series. At least I'm use to Atlus Hard. Hellllllo Nocturne.
