Gestalt
New Team StarWolf speculation goes here. What would you like to see out of the new and improved StarWolf? More of an SF64 StarWolf or an Assualt StarWolf?? ----------------- I for one am tired of StarWolf playing second fiddle all the time. In a new SF game...I want Wolf O' Donnell and his gang to be THE threat and not just 30 'A Buttons' away from defeat. I want Wolf to ACTUALLY send Fox McCloud running for his mommy put the GreatFox out of commission and bring Starfox and Corneria to their knees...with the help of superior spacecraft, their own flagship (the GreatWolf ), and new found skill Wolf needs to become emporer of Lylat. I want him to be extremely....EXTREMELY....hard to take down with several missions leading up to doing so. Starfox would have to go totally stealth mode to bring down O' Donnell's new found Powerhouse... Slight hyperbole
The Shaper
Wolf needs to become emporer of Lylat. I will definitely be writing a fanfiction about how Wolf becomes ME through a series of complex plot twists and other various events.

sroberson
Huummm....I was actually a fan of the development that was done on Wolf in Assault. The design of his character was rather well done and I can always appreciate having an enemy that is a bit deeper than "See Fox. Fox die" which is really all that SF64 did with him. I agree that Wolf and team needs to be harder to take down somehow, but I don't really have much answer on how to accomplish that. Give them bombs? Add capital ships participating in the battles? I feel the only way to really add a difficulty level like that to Star Fox is to give it a flight sim style of playing (recalls fond memories of playing Aerofighters Assault in multiplayer and zipping around in canyons to avoid enemy attacks), but that goes a bit beyond the scope of the conversation. I feel like your idea of letting Star Wolf become a major threat to the galaxy sort of went up in the air when the Sargasso base was infiltrated by Star Fox and is now under control of the Cornerian military. Perhaps they could reform a base of operations with their collective underlings of outlaws and conquer a few planets? Conquering the galaxy seems like a bit of a stretch for Star Wolf having been so easily routed by Star Fox in the past...but I could see a few planets falling to Star Wolf. Perhaps even these planets they capture could be new planets to the Lylat system, Star Fox (and maybe some Cornerian military) is sent to liberate the planets resulting in on foot missions, missions with the landmaster, and then obviously the Arwing (I personally would love to have free reign over the galaxy and planets to travel/explore with the Arwing or Great Fox). They are successful in liberating several planets but fail at some point and it allows Star Wolf to pretty much have control over a couple planets that they can form into a Federation that acts as a separate collective government away from Corneria. Now we have the Lylat Government and then the Star Wolf Federation that can either brew conflict for later games, or could eventually have an unlikely alliance sort of deal where they fight off an even more powerful force (sort of like Star Wars in the Yuzzhan Vong invasion where they work with the Imperials to fight off the invaders) They can keep Panther, but I admit I hate the stupid and unnecessary tension they created between him and Krystal. Perhaps Star Fox could take a low blow by the fact that this could take place after Command and Krystal is part of Star Wolf and actively took part in conquering the planets. So now we have the problem with Star Fox is one person down compared to Star Wolf and one of the members of Star Wolf pretty much knows everything about Star Fox and knows how to sabotage Fox...then Star Fox can get another member later in the game...Fara/Miyu/Fay? All of the above?
The Shaper
About Star Wolf taking over the galaxy. You should also take into account the sheer incompetence of the Cornerian Military when in the face of danger, all that really stops them is Star Fox.
Gestalt
Eeeyup...all starwolf needs to do is strike fear in to Corneria and what better way to do that then steal stuff...which is what they do. Steal a top secret Cornerian fail-safe weapon and they've got the galaxy on it knees by the balls. But what i'm really intrested in is engaging the aggressor at mutiple venues...perhaps Starwolf can steal the keys to a bunch of Cornerian drones automated drones and maybe a nuclear missile base, then they will have a new army at their command. Often-times enemies have unlikely rises to power.
Redeemer
I will definitely be writing a fanfiction about how Wolf becomes ME through a series of complex plot twists and other various events. Oooooooh! Now I know who you are! XD The more badass Wolf is, the more awesome he is, but sadly I think he'll always be the "pest" rather than the big bad guy. The Shaper
Oooooooh! Now I know who you are! XD The Serious Sam logo and 02 pony weren't a dead giveaway? Anyway it's true, Wolf isn't really an allout bad guy as much as he is an anti-hero who has a chip on his shoulder.

Yes...you should probaly make a public anoucement in the welcome wagon or something just in case...unless ofcourse you don't want everybody to know But yeah, Wolf was more of anti-hero in Assualt not so much in SF64. I think StarWolf is the band of pirates who'd steal about anything to advance their position...and with the right story line maybe in a future SF game (certainly not the next) it could center entirely around wolf stealing something important on a galactic scale. Panther ... Panther needs a hell of alot more characterization tho. He's got a nice character pallet and all but krystal drool can be a bit much. Mabye if he was a graceful killer with poise about it eh Leon has the potential to be awesome but i hope they dont make him the 'Starscream' sidekick. I'm all for Pigma Dengar's return. He and Fox need to settle mano e mano over the James McClould incident.
