I haven't really been doing that much exercise as I should. The only kind I ever get is when I ride my bike or walk to work.

Exorcize? There aren't any demons around here that I know of.

Except me.

I'm a bat, boy.

That's no way to treat a lady.

Wow, a man making a sockpuppet account and acting like a woman? Reminds me of another member we had here once.

Back on topic please, but I think everything to be said has been said.

Indeed. But you have forgotten the choice i would have voted for. Basically, i get fat every spring. Then run it off every summer. There's absolutely nothing healthy about it. icon_lol.gif

I put on nothing, in fact I've lost more weight than I need to. Last I checked I weighed about 102 lbs.

I'm a competitive hockey player, so during the on-season (September to April) I'm on the ice about 3-4 times a week which is usually an hour, unless otherwise scheduled. I went for a huge break period this May-June with little exercise and sports at all, just the odd whatever and I was also sidelined recently with injury, so in comparison to past seasons, I'm out of shape. I've been going swimming that past week, and I'm going to aim to do so at least three times a week during the free time I've got this summer as well as doing all the other things I want to do. I'm hoping to start next season with good preparation for what's ahead.

My problem is that I never plan to excersize. Usually my "excersize" will be either playing sports in small groups with my friends (in over-the top temperatures [and humidity] that end up making us tired before even an hour has passed) or lifting some heavy (and heavy is relative, its not usually that bad) objects for my parents so as to prevent them from throwing out their backs.

In all seriousness, you know you are out of shape when you can barely make it through 3 sets of tennis. 7-5, 6-3, 6-1 scoreline tells a story of fatigue (and the fact that i would rather sprint than run a marathon) as opposed to lack of skill LOL

I should try to get out more, even if just for a casual walk. The excersize bike would help if I could set fitness goals properly. I can't tell you how many times I've gone on the bike and set a 20:00 minute limit, and miscalculated what "level" on the machine I could handle.
