Hidi
^Yes, exactly, it's a plothole. Krystal because she hasn't been properly developed in the series is the easiest to boot, but that is also a result of her being from the original Dinosaur Planet to which Star Fox was tacked on. Vy'drach
Also, it doesn't make any sense that she'd be flying in her spaceship to dinosaur planet, land, find a Cloudrunner, go back up in the sky, and battle General Scales's ship when she could've easily blown it up with her ship. That would imply she knew about General Scales before landing and disembarking to find out what the distress signal was, and while it appears her ship is armed, we don't know how the weapon systems work, so perhaps it makes more sense for her to be firing her staff from the back of the Cloudrunner. I mean hell, maybe her ship is designed to have a larger crew than one on it, including a gunner. Yes, it's a bit of a plothole, but there're perfectly acceptable reasons right there that don't require Nintendo to bludgeon you with a plot pipe in a back alley of Story City. Gameplay wise, yeah it makes sense to have her on the Cloudrunner. But it's still something that doesn't make much sense, even if most of the time people don't think about it. Thu'um
Well, okay. It's not all Krystal's fault. But if Krystal wasn't even in the franchise, then Fox wouldn't be sad, so there. Also, it doesn't make any sense that she'd be flying in her spaceship to dinosaur planet, land, find a Cloudrunner, go back up in the sky, and battle General Scales's ship when she could've easily blown it up with her ship. Fox, i think, will always be sad. Main reason? i don't think he will ever come to terms with his father's death. Look at him in command, and assualt. In command he does become sad over krystal. But he started it, and he started it because he was depressed about his dad. Your right, it is funky that she was riding a cloud runner. But remeber the ship that she piloted to the great fox is also the same ship that kid naps tricky. Prehaps is was taken from her upon her landing? we won't know. But i don't find it unthinkable
russiandog38
Adventures and Command made no sense! They both made sense in their own way. If you can avoid the plot holes and look at the main story line and what Nintendo was actually getting at, then they make sense.
psy_commando
If I could boot a Star Fox character, I'd ask to get Fara, Myiu, and Fay back instead... Booting anybody will make people unhappy anyways, well maybe except Rob.

Booting anybody will make people unhappy anyways, well maybe except Rob. Issue with that though is, ROB flies Greatfox. Flying an assault carrier of that size cant exactly be a 1 man job, unless you happen to be a robot. You boot ROB, we either run into the issue of having the team engineer and at least one other aboard to keep the ship flying, limiting the number of people in the squadron... even if it does mean we only ever hear from slippy when Greatfox is under attack... I cant determine if that'd be better or worse

It would be awesome if the ship could talk too, and make quotes from 2001 a space odyssey ...

I always asumed it was a Sharpclaw ship, and she just borrowed it to go to the Great Fox. I listed a few examples of how it worked fine plot wise. Yeah, you said why it wouldn't make sense if she used a ship, and that it would be better if she used her staff. The problem with that is if she's flying in the sky on the dinosaur, there's no way she could've gone through space like that, and if she had a ship, the only way that it couldn't be seen was if it had already been landed on the planet. xWrath68x
I wouldn't boot anyone honestly. They all are well made characters except for slippy screwing over the entire team.
ballisticwaffles
I would boot everything, leaving the Series a Cold husk of Dark space from which we would gaze at and view as the sub par game it is. Either that or Fox, cause i hate emotionless Orphans.
Fluxy
Fox = Emotionless Orphan. Lolwut? Aside from disagreeing! I choose Slippy. Why? "Cause he's bad, lolrite?" Nope. Cause he's awesome, and once kicked from the series, someone will pick up Slippy and give him his own game where he can be the hero too. I would play the shit out of that game. Like, if Solid Snake, was instead, Solid Slippy... I'd never stop begging for more.
ballisticwaffles
Solid Slippy is now canon in my mind. "Slippy are there? we need you to destroy ANDROSS GEAR." "Otafox.... can Love bloom on the battlefield?" Lol anyway i mean emotionless orphan in the way Rei Ayanami is Emotionless. Yes there is charecter, just not a very interesting one.

Slippy isn't an orphan though; his dad appears in Assault and Command (Assault though being a canon title). I think though seeing how they portrayed him in Assault, he may develop into a more over-emotional-type character, which I could see working well for Slippy. Hidi
We don't know that for sure as in the Star Fox 64 storyline, he doesn't have a mentioned mother, so there could still be a chance of something, though I think it rather unlikely.
Rin
I'd have to say Kyrstal. While I don't hate her, she's done nothing but split and maul the fandom (even moreso than pre-Adventures vs post-Adventures people), and it's gotten very tiring, very quickly. It doesn't help that her backround, and overall character development have been retconned and botched over and over as well.

Personally, I'd like ROB better if he had more character, emotion and didn't sound like a typical robot, kinda like Blinky from Bucky O'Hare or Alpha from Power Rangers. That's just my opinion though.
