Title says it all folks, maybe we will see more of Star Fox in the future. I do hope so.

This is awesome. If the article is correct, then Miyamoto wants Star Fox above all else. But I wonder why he doesn't want to talk about it (Retro!?)

If this proves to be true, I may just have to consider the purchase of a Wii-U. Where I'm going to find money for said Wii-U is anyone's guess.

Don't get too excited. While it is great the the series is still on his mind, Miyamoto also said he wanted Star Fox on Wii, and that never happened.

It's all well and good to be like "oh yeah, I love this idea", but actually funding the project is another thing. Star Fox is great, we all know that, but it perhaps doesn't have enough promise of profit. :/

I hope they do make it eventually. Nintendo can't expect to live off only Mario and Zelda as their core franchises.

It is good that he is at least acknowledging the series exists once more.

Cool, just one more reason to buy a Wii-U... Well if this really happens that is....

*Wonders why this is in the Lounge and not in the Arcade, then realizes I posted it at 4AM*

Anyway, I am quite hopeful for this. Miyamoto not only acknowledges Star Fox's existence, but he said he'd like to see the franchise make an appearance above all else.

Not sure whether to move this to the Arcade or General Star Fox...eh, the Arcade it is.

Of course they can, they've been doing it for a whole console generation.

We dont know. Nobody knows what Retro is working on. It could be Star Fox, or it could be something else.

This reignites some hope that they'll release Star Fox on the Wii U, but like DZ said, Miyamoto said the exact same thing about Star Fox on the Wii but it never happened. So I'd take this with a grain of salt.

Still, one can dream right? :D

isn't next year Star Fox 20th anniversary? if it is then of course theres going be a new game cuz zelda, mario, and even kirby got new games and classic ports to systems. It would be nice to see star fox snes on the éShop.

Not necessarily, as much as we all wished otherwise, Starfox isn't one of Nintendo's main franchises, they may just overlook it.
