Icy
I've been practicing Scout a lot lately. I think I'm pretty good now. It's always been my aim that was so bad as Scout, but I seem to have taken care of that problem. So if we get someone else (Firebug, Fail, whoever) to take Pyro I can go Scout, and if not then someone else can go Scout. They'll probably do fine. :)

I've been making some major adjustments to my style of play in the past couple of days. Completely disabled mouse acceleration both in game and in windows via a registry fix and increased mouse sensitivity to 4.5ish from 3.6. Furthermore, I've been delaying a lot of my shots slightly and trying to make more of them "meatshots". Needless to say I've noticed a vast improvement in my K:D ratios and my ability to stay alive. Also, double jumping or jumping against good scouts in general is a bad idea.
Firebug
Also, double jumping or jumping against good scouts in general is a bad idea. It's a bad idea when facing just about every class. :|
"User"
It's a bad idea when facing just about every class. Not against projectiles. Jumping and double jumping (preferably in random directions to throw off your target) is essential to avoid splash damage and things like flare guns. Robert Monroe
Just so you guys know... I am signed up for this, but I can not guarantee being there, or even playing well. It's on a Sunday, to boot, so... schedule problems. Get some backup engineers just in case. I'm really sorry I can't fully commit to these things, but that's my life... :

Icy
Good map choices. Never played plr_panic, but I'm sure it won't be hard to learn. So how are we signed up, Ajc? It says people should be getting emails and stuff. I assume that's you since you're the leader of the team? More details would be nice so I can be sure everything will work for me. Rules and scheduals have yet to be sent out. right now the tournment is set for august 12th, we probably play a couple of games and then either kill each other over our fustration, or be booted from the tournament for being the worst team of all time. And while i get all the info The general is the boss around here. I apointed him to lead us to victory. That way when we fail i won't be blamed and dishonored

Also sets the effect stats are banned. Robert Monroe
lolwut why are so many christmas hats banned I don't even And i'm surprised the Enforcer is STILL banned after its huge nerf.
"User"
The rules look like a much simplified version of current UGC rules. I like how they try and discourage "highly skilled players" from playing their main and encourage them to off-class. Last thing they want are new players to get completely destroyed in a highlander game. Kudos to them. lolwut why are so many christmas hats banned I don't even And i'm surprised the Enforcer is STILL banned after its huge nerf. At least they only banned 7 weapons and most (if not all of them) wouldn't be used by any good player in the first place. I'm surprised with what they didn't ban actually. Edit: and I just remembered that pl_retawdab is the mirror version of Badwater lol
Icy
Rules look good to me. I just hope our "leader" will know how to do all this config stuff, because it's definitely confusing me. The weapon bans were expected. Nothing I would've used..... dat Pomson. The most BS weapon in TF2 atm… in my opinion. So how do we know if we're accepted and all? Also, who all are you putting down on the roster so we'll have enough players, etc? Just want to be sure everything's going to work.

I have read through it all, most of it is just " in this event this happens...." and ect. Thats the thing, i don't know if we are even in. I have yet to recieve an email. I contacted them telling them so, and haven't been responded to. I am waiting for atleast an email that tells us we aren't in....
