"User"
Final Fantasy 8. Yeah I said it. The least popular of the series, but damn I love it. I love the characters, the plot, even THE DRAW SYSTEM. OH YEAH I WENT THERE. It was fun leveling up the characters early and just drawing all day every day. :
The Shaper
Turok: Evolution, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War -Soulstorm, and Serious Sam 2 (plenty of the fans didn't enjoy the games less than stellar graphics and more comedic approach) come to mind. Vy'drach
Evolution was a great game. Some "professional" video game reviewers down talked it, but they generally don't know what they're talking about anyway, and now just downrate games that didn't pay them for a good review. Anyway, the entire Turok series was great, until the 2008 one, which was shit. Completely killed the series, then when the map pack DLC was made for it, it dug up the series' grave, and sodomized it.

Turok was great! I'm sure a lot of people remember Turok 2 from the N64, which in fact was a pain on controlling the game itself, but it was still an awesome game and fun to show and play with friends. sjrathbun812
I don't play many games that people hate anymore, I don't think. I used to play Starfox Adventures all the time, and everybody hated that game. ...I still play Sonic games, however, and nobody has really been a fan of those. :/

I'm sorry, did you say people hated Adventures? AND sonic? Where the HECK is there not a state where people like playing Sonic, at least! X.x.... On a darker note, Resident Evil 4, 5, ect. I LOVE the games, don't get me wrong. Mainly cus of the story, partly because of how they actually made the monsters more fun to kill xD Not a whole lot of people like it because they're no longer Zombies. So what!? They're fun games. Milkyway64
>mfw RE4 wasn't considered an absolutely revolutionary game and one of the best of its generation I'm seeing an awful lot of terrible to plain wrong examples in this thread. A personal example of mine would be Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. Often regarded as the worst 2D Zelda behind even minish cap, most people barely remember it exists let alone talk about it when discussing the series at large because of its arcadey style. It's still a very competent entry to the series action-wise. It feels right.
Ellanie
I have a few; Legend of Dragoon, while most don't care enough to leap hate upon it, the game is mostly remembered outside of it's tiny cult fandom for being the most blantent rip-off of Final Fantasy ever created, which it really is (compare some of the character designs to characters in FFVII, it's obvious). Despite that, I love just about everything about the game. It's literally one of my favorite games I've ever played. I'm actually currently playing Final Fantasy V. The PS1 version, with the nutty translation. I've been told to get the GBA version over it if I could based on the dialogue alone. I'm sorry, but while the odd slang, pirate talk, and some of the stuff Bartz says has been so charming and funny that I don't mind it at all. Steve
Monster Hunter games are a DRUG in japan, I wouldn't consider it for a " everyone else hates it" candidate. I love it too, it's damn good. I'd personally consider a sin to even consider metroid prime in the list. A sin, I tell you. I would add Soldat to the list, it's not getting the love it used to get before.
Vulvokunvrii
I liked Command because you didn't have to play as Fox. It was great playing as Falco. If I didn't pick Command, then I would have picked Mercenaries two. I beat it 30 times.
Milkyway64
I dunno what to feel about Monster Hunter. It's good and everything I love, but it's soooo goddamn grindy. I often leave my playthroughs hanging because it's too much work to refight the same boss 10-50 times for that ONE DROP.
Peter
I liked Oddworld Stranger's Wrath. IGN rates it a 7.5, but I'd give it no less than an 8.5, and that's pretty low. It has to be, IMO, a 9 or higher.

Thu'um
Hm, after much reflection, like six seconeds, I really can't think of anything i like that many others don't. But Sonny is under played. Alot of people don't know about it, although most who play it come to love it.
