The only reason I've returned is because everywhere else I've gone is virtually dead and I'm bored. I had my own reasons for leaving, but I will not discuss them. Not now, not ever. In any event, here I am, back again - and I wonder if anything's changed in my absence. I've no idea how long I've been gone, and I really don't care. Quite the contrary - I try to stay here as long as my patience and forbearance will allow. I'll keep this thread, however, for such a purpose as you specify - but know that I do not like doing what you say. Rarely do I leave - and when I do, it is because A.) something happened, or B.) I have much I want to do, and as such, I will be taking a leave of absence from today to the monday after this weekend. As much as I'd like to spend my birthday on this site, I can't. I can no longer even remember why I left. I wonder what's changed? Will I even recognize this place? I don't know. I have been on a long hiatus, true - but during that hiatus, I've been... notably busy. Primarily, with a book I sent off to my publisher. At present, I cannot divulge any details, but I can say that the book will be available sometime in October. That, and some of us will find certain events and characters in it... familiar. More than this, I cannot say. It wasn't any reference to my current state. Or did you say that intentionally? Anyways, thanks. But please, NO ONE ask me about any updates on my book - I would rather not say.
