What was the first video game you ever owned/played?

Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I was four and I still own the cartidge, twenty years later.

I'm really glad that my first game was such a good game, though I wasn't able to beat it until I was a teenager.

I believe the first game I ever played was either Sonic 2 or Super Mario Bros. 3. I don't remember which came first, all I know is that I had great times with both of them. :3

I'm pretty sure my first game was something on the NES when I was maybe 4 or 5. I have an older brother, who is quite the gamer, so there's the reason behind having a NES when I was still a toddler.

Star Fox 64 I believe. I use to play a lot of games on the N64 and NES with my cousin.

First game I played was Alex Kidd in wonderland for the Sega genesis or master system? It was okay, but the Sega broke down and we got a SNES with super mario all stars + super mario world. From that day on I was a Nintendo (Mario) fan.

I am glad that the Sega broke (good quality). Otherwise I would have never gotten a SNES. I still have my SNES and it still works flawlessly. Nintendo rules!

Super Mario Bros. for the classic NES. I remember seeing a commercial when I was less than 10 I believe. I asked my dad to buy me an N64, and he instead buys me an NES with Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. Surprisingly, I don't think I complained about it. I actually enjoyed playing those two classics.
