Ugh....life....sucks.....

Hi SFO. Dark here *sighs*

Being an adult sucks...ass...and balls. Do people stand this existance by getting used to it or something? Being an adult sucks. I mean responsiblity is great and all, buti t fucking sucks and its probably me being a lazy sack of shit. How do you people stand it? I just feels so useless becasue I've always held myself back from achiving what I could have been achieving. So I bascially fucked my life in the ass long ago nad have been doing it since. I got let go from my job becasue of two things I did and then becasue of who knows what going on in the company, though I belive I was fired due to favoritism. I'v efailed my written driver test twice and will try again tomorrow (sarcastic yaay).I'd love to kill myself but I don't want too. It'd be cool to be in the marines but I bet I'll be subjected to hazing and wish I was dead. Woohoo.......

Does anyone here have advice or tips that could help? I am sort of find it hard to enjoy being an adult. Bye bye child hood and hello bullshit of adult hood. I highly doubt I'll get married. You get kids and then one of the parents ends up findign someone else and then taking all the good stuff, money and the nfucks up your credit score later so your life is a living hell once more.

I keep hearing "Oh life is what you make it out to be, and that its an adventure and blah blah blah." How the **** is it an adventure? Its liek you just work yourself to death and no one cares for very long. I know I'm a negative nanny in theis thread but after getting yelled by my mother and having the truth of my existance blared into my skull and then her saying she isn't mad at me (fucking yes you still are lady), I now have an attidue. I hate having an attitude butits another one of shitty habits.

Again, is there any advice on how to really make life not suck?

Sucking both ass and balls doesn't sound very kosher.

I am worrying about my job as of late so I might be in your boat before too long. Same issue, favoritism. Bad management too in my opinion pinning me with work that I try to accomplish but then they also stick me with doing desktop support which gets me away from my projects every time I get around to making progress.

I feel you with the whole not married thing, have had a pretty serious chip on my shoulder for the past year just being turned away and watching reality looking pretty bleak.

Now I am one of those people that likes to treat life like its an adventure, but sometimes it sucks. Bad. But what good would an adventure be if you didn't have to struggle and eventually triumph? Any story out there you have protagonists and heroes that face the tough times and suffer, then through some stroke of luck, pulling up by bootstraps, whatever they overcome their hardships to make that happy ending. No, happy endings are not guaranteed and sadly sometimes that's not your fault, but the way I figure is i'll be damned if I don't try none the less - especially when it comes to being a victim of circumstance and society. The way I think of it then is "I am not a bitch to society...if I don't like it i'll change it or leave it."

Wish I had better advice to give you, but at least I can guarantee you that you aren't alone. Its tough growing up, it wouldn't be considered an accomplishment (somehow...) if it were easy.

Hmm...yeah you're right. I'll try to be enthusiastic but...its a real pain the butt. I've got to do my thrid attempt at the DMV tomorrow morning, do math, study math (i have a final exam on thursday), and then theres the recruiter. I dunno. I'd be more of a hypocrite if I didn't go by what I tell some of my friends- "Things will get worse before they get better." Hope that "better" part will happen a few times...

Thank you Sroberson. I'll do my best.

Lol, I can't say I am "enthusiastic" about life as much as I am just determined. Trust me, I am a highly cynical and angry guy when it comes to looking out the window and wondering what the heck is going on out there. I guess its a matter of trying to reach for and take what you want from life and not wait for a second if you can manage. I believe things usually get better after they get worse, but that could of course be situational. I hope things look up for you sooner rather than later.

One other thing I like to do when I get down, just in case you find it humorous enough, is to just suggest to myself that the reason the world isn't exactly looking my way, is because I am simply too legendary that they can't deal with it. Most people think its stupid, but I find it somewhat heartwarming.

Well I'm not going to be one of those people who are going to say "Oh life is great, you have the ability to to this or that." Because to be honest life sucks. We all know that at one point or another. Usually because of War, famine, corruption, hate, and all of the other reasons yet to be named. I mean look at the shooting in Colorado. That was a horrible thing that happened. People all over are going, "Why..., Couldn't...," and "If only...", I mean nobody likes to hear this on the news or the radio.

However I appear to be slipping from the point.

Life does stink and isn't always at one's favor. Yet the journey that one takes is what makes being here, what makes being on this earth, and all the stars, planets, galixies, and whatever there may be in the sky at night, that's the adventure. To seek out the new and remember the old.

I know I'm young, but have you ever had that feeling that you know something that no one else understands? That no one will ever figure out the answer. I think thats the force that drives us all to continue forward.

You said your self...

wish I was dead. Woohoo.......

If you really did, then this topic wouldn't exist. Something kept you going. You just need to find out what.

Yeah, you're right Executioner, thank you. I'll do my best to get my paw mark remebered somewhere somehow. Live is too "short" to hate and mope all the time.

I wouldn't say life is too short to mope around all the time, I'd say there's so much time, it eventually comes to you that you can't simply do that for the rest of your life.

Sometimes the easiest way for one to see life is through the things we have done or the experiences we have lived. For me, it's through music, art, and sports; the three things that I do the most. Relating reality to another reality (Which would be relating life to sports) can be a way to attain a clearer view of things that confuse us. I can't really think of what else to say without either going off topic or upsetting you since you are in a sensitive mood now, and we mustn't bring you further down.

While members like High Executor and I are young, we do understand your message and what you're trying to say. I'm sure we could find instances to relate whether in life, or another part of life (As I said, sport, music, art, etc.).

Life sucks, compared to what? That is the ultimate question. Think about it.

I like to think life sucks BECAUSE of politics and sports...well at least in part because of those things

Those ARE life.

Because being in the mortal coil is a requirement to discuss, partake, and spectate said things.

Life is life. It does not conform to us, we conform to life. If it changes, we change with it. Adapt to survive. But we can control some parts of it.
