WolfOD64
I was on tumblr, and I found THIS. The date is slated for Oct. 7, 2012
Showtime 1-1
The overwhelming cute-ness of the poster turns me off.
Star Fox Runner
Eh? Now THAT is interesting! Good to see some Star Fox love!
LoneWolf
Interesting. Maybe this will indicate to Nintendo that a new Star Fox game is A GOOD IDEA.
DZComposer
Go-Go-Gadget Google Translate! It's an event for fan comics that is part of a larger comic festival. It explicitly says that Nintendo has nothing to do with it.
Synapsepilot
I would be quite interested in what sort of festivities they would have at such an event. Well, thats one more Starfox related public event than I ever thought would exist.
psy_commando
That's pretty interesting, I wonder how much people will take part to this event. I would totally go there, if I could speak Japanese. I wish things like that would happen around here And I also wonder if Nintendo will come down on them, since they'll probably sell artworks and doujinshi, all under the same roof, which is basically any copyright specialized lawyer's wet dream.. With that said, too bad Fara is pretty much unheard of in japan But its still cool nonetheless.
Showtime 1-1
Hopefully it will call some attention to the series, maybe nintendowill listen. At any rate, it shows that the fanbase is still alive, even if they are relegated to comics for now.
WolfOD64
I hope someone will be there to take pictures. The fanbase has a right to know what the festival LOOks like at least.
LoneWolf
Looks like there's going to be some artists drawing the different characters, as well as a competition to see who can make the best comic based on this template: http://sfox-fes.com/.../4koma_temp.zip Also, upon digging through the site some more, thanks to Google Chrome's built-in translate feature, I found this site: http://stf.skr.jp/ Which appears to be a custom search designed to search only StarFox related things. Interesting. Sadly, Chrome refuses to translate this one correctly, so I have no clue what to do here. Also in the links is another StarFox fansite (In Japanese, accordingly) http://www.hemoryu.com/. They've got some pretty great fanart there, as well as a few fan comics I haven't seen before (Also in Japanese). Note the (Poorly translated) warning though: A hodgepodge site and also novels Illustration propensity toward men and women is also healthy. Try at your own risk when browsing. The only other notable thing from the fansite is some sick-ass Panther art here: http://sfox-fes.com/08_toiawase.html
