DZComposer Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 I have disabled the SFOConomy for the time being. I am looking to see if it is the cause of some performance issues. Also, I never really felt it caught on anyway, so I am open to discussion on whether or not you guys want to bring it back, provided disabling it does not eliminate the issues. While it was an interesting thing to have, it really wasn't something I used very much. Though if it does get removed, I think there should still be a way to acquire forum items such as custom member titles and possible items (Though I have very little interest in those as well, it's mainly the member titles). I haven't noticed anything different in site performance though since reading this, though given the time, my ISP usually shuts down the internet and I get a ton of DNS errors, so I may have to wait until tomorrow before I notice a difference. However there were some features i'd still like to see even if they aren't recieved through SFOC mainly the custom titles. "Free-Drugz" righteous though they are... may not always suit my theme. Fluxy Posted September 3, 2012 Share Posted September 3, 2012 I believe that it literally was nothing. Not to mention all the admins had to do was click a button and bam they cheated the system! So really it, to me, was only a means of getting a custom title. I personally think that's the only rather redeemable part of it. There was no "Buy to increase Sig size!" or anything to make what you did that more special. Cause everyone was running around with the same little under pictures. Although I wonder where a couple thousand credits at 5% was really going to go...but it was worth a try, though I actually had less than 1000 invested at the time. I figured not spending would be a good idea, but everyone else had little shop items and stuff. Well, at least I wont have to feel so poor anymore haha. And note to self: stock markets do not like you. I love how I bought the moderator activity stock at 113 credits and by the time the system was removed, it had gone below 95 credits LOL But yeah, the system won't be missed by many.
