DZComposer
I kind of like the original green text, to be honest. It is based off of the "Press Start" text on SF1's title screen. Logos themselves also were not exactly what I was talking about when I said banners, I mean banners that include more than just a logo.

Stuff that includes original game art, or?
Fana McCloud
My idea was to make pixel art of the team and have them animated next to the logo in some way, but I haven't thought in depth about it. XD I'd imagine that'd be closer to what he'd want done though - add character / vehicle graphics or something.
Ala1n-J
I don't know if you can change the logo's size that much for the website, but I've come up with this .gif with SF2 sprites : Resaturated the "Starfox", used a SNES SF font for the "online" and I know I didn't use Miyu and Fay, but I think the .gif is long enough. EDIT : Ok, there's a weird white halo around the title and I can't figure out why...

Though as a minor nitpick, you forgot to add the s in "20-years-old", other than that, it looks fantastic. ^^
Hidi
Just a minor grammatical mistake Alain, but I won't kill you on it. My French grammar is far beyond simple mistakes. I like your design, and it was pretty much what I had in mind, but I liked the bright yellow that outlined the letters, which I see you removed. Ala1n-J
Alright, fixed the grammatical error (thanks Patch1993 and Hidi) and I hope I fixed the white outline problem : Still some white dots but it's far better. I liked the bright yellow that outlined the letters, which I see you removed. Bright yellow outlines? I didn't see them anywhere. Or maybe I missed something.
LoneWolf
You know, I think it'd be fun to make the new site gamepad-friendly with some HTML5 tricks. I'd have to figure out how to integrate them so that it's plug-and-play and doesn't require controller-specific maps, but that'd really complete the experience. http://active.tutsplus.com/tutorials/games/an-introduction-to-the-html5-gamepad-api/
DZComposer
IPB is NOT written in HTML 5, and I am NOT taking on that task myself. Though, a specific theme for 3DS and WiiU users would be nice. I may do that.

LoneWolf
IPB is NOT written in HTML 5, and I am NOT taking on that task myself. Ah, alright. I was just going to say, I could prolly write a plugin with my mediocre HTML5 skills if it would integrate with the current code, but oh well. PhotonTH
There seriously needs to be an actual game. I predict a 20th anniversary game to be announced at E3. I demand it. 64 3d was great but we need an original game, C'mon Nintendo! DO IT!!!! And yeah it looks awesome.
Snys93
*Picard* Make it so. Theme looks great! Will the chatroom also be reconfigured with snes sounds?
Hidi
Hmmm well if that were to happen, it wouldn't be able to completely match up to the sound effects being sued at present. What I mean, is that there's only one beep for chat transmissions wheras Star Fox 64 has an entry and exit sound. You also didn't have a lock on the SNES so that sound would be something else too. Patch93
Actually Star Fox 2 does have a lock-on sound effect. Though using the sound that plays when you read through Pepper's message in the beginning of SF2 would work better.
DZComposer
I'm probably not going to change the sounds. Unfortunately, recent updates have completely broken the theme, so I will have to start over with it. As a result, I will not be able to completely do what I wanted. But, non-IE users will get a treat and get to see the site rendered in the font used in the SNES game. But, the theme will not be ready by new year. I will instead aim for the original Japanese release date for SF1, Feb. 21. Also, PhotonTH, please stay on topic.
Hidi
"But non-IE users..." HOW many people these days even use IE?! (Other than people who don't know any better) In a place like this, we would hope that wouldn't be a problem. Looking forward to it!
DZComposer
15% of our traffic is IE.
