Fana McCloud
I thought it would be interesting to have a thread to brag about some of our more prized possessions or new acquisitions. I have lots of little objects in my life that have mostly sentimental (though sometimes monetary) value. I'll post pictures and stories about them as time goes by. To start I figured I'd post a picture of something I mentioned in another thread: This guy is a piece of limited edition sericel art based on artwork from Yoshi's Island, which was sold directly by Nintendo. Each design's print run was limited to 1,000 pieces and there were two designs that I knew of, but I only could afford this one at the time (or rather, it's all that my mom would consent to getting me, seeing as it was her money). This one is #456 of 1000. He is definitely one of my more prized possessions, as he is a very rare creature indeed. >:3 That game was such a part of my childhood that I'm happy I had the foresight to get this, as it's a really nice bit of memorabilia. I'm hoping somewhere down the line I can find a nice frame for him so that he doesn't have to sit in his original plastic any longer.
Vy'drach
I have #59/1000 Zar'roc sword from Eragon. The autographed BronyCon poster Fox McCloud got for me. The official Derpy Hooves toy. I also love my Springfield M1A, as it shoots fine, and has a military stock and is honestly my favourite gun to shoot.
Arashikage
I have a copy of Slipknot's Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat, their very first album. Only 1000 copies exist, and I have number 459 I think. I'll post a picture of it when I get home.
Redeemer
I have a figure of Lt. Raziel from the Legacy of Kain series, which is very hard to come by. Also Wraith Raziel. I have a signed Rey Mysterio mask that he wore once, which I won from a WWE auction. I'm not a wrestling fan anymore though so I think I may eBay it. I have snippets from one of the first film reels of the Silent Hill movie. I have the figure of 9, from Tim Burton's 9, which is apparently uncommon. I have figurines of Hell Boy and Abe Sapien. I have an original set of Ocarina of Time figures, Link, Zelda and Ganon. I also have the OoT Link and Zelda figures that were a Japan-only release, but R3dFiVe was able to spot them at GamesCom and bought them for me. That's all I can think of so far, I'll update if I remember any more. XD

sroberson
I guess the one possession that I have that I would consider "collectible" would be a 1984 Ibanez Destroyer series bass guitar http://a4.ec-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/69/c21665185a2f446eaf51a28b3dabf55c/l.jpg Other than that, I have a 1967 Dodge Charger that is in a rather sad state and needs to have some work on it, but nothing extremely major to get it running again. http://beatrice2013.edublogs.org/files/2010/01/1967_Dodge_Charger_exfrdrvr34.jpg

Scott7
This is hanging in our living room now. Brother found it hidden in my grandfather's broken wood-burning Stove... We're not exactly how old it is, or if it's museum worthy.... But considering he passed away last year, we neither have the answers nor any intentions to give it away. This was Enscribed on the leather of the sheeth it was held in. Not really sure what these numbers mean either, but as you can see a good number of them were crossed off for some bazaar reason. Vulvokunvrii
I still have my Millenium Falcon in the attic (a action figure ship where you could do fun stuff with it. Open and closable boarding ram, turrets and such) And I still have my PS1 from years ago.
Fana McCloud
OWA: My god that looks freakin' awesome. XD *Plots to sneak into house and steal.* >:3 Sroberson: Sweetness. I've never had the opportunity to due to lack of monies but if I were going to learn any of the traditional rock instruments bass is like first on my list - I like how funky they can sound. >:3 Arashikage: That's beyond awesome. XD Vydrach: Derrrrrrrrp. Yeah, I seem to remember you going "OH MAH GERD!" when I mentioned they were making Derpy toys - glad to see that you got one. And everyone else has awesome stuff too, wheee. >:
LoneWolf
Well, here we go: I own most existing vintage consoles in their American versions (more obscure ones like the Atari Jaguar excluded) Name it, I probably have it. The crown jewel of my vintage collection is a beautiful Japanese Famicom that is in working order. That red, gold and white is sexy. Also in my collection is StarFox SNES and SF64, along with more valuable titles such as Double Dragon (Master System), Punch-Out (SNES), and the original Legend Of Zelda I and II games for my NES, both with the Gold-colored cases. Pretty sweet. I'm also the proud owner of a massive Star Wars themed Lego collection, probably worth over $1K. I have yet to take pictures, but I cast a small, solid coin-silver Arwing in a metal design class. It's worth about $50 in silver alone. I have a pretty sick ammo box from the Korean war, and a gas-powered airsoft HK USP, which is slack as hell. I am also the owner of many other things. Vy'drach
I tried identifying that bayonet, OWA, but for the life of me I can not. Only things that came close to it really were: http://worldbayonets.com/Bayonet_Identification_Guide/France/france_2.html#1914 http://worldbayonets.com/Bayonet_Identification_Guide/Brazil/Brazil_2.html#m19081 If you want, if you can figure out how to contact him he'd be more than happy to identify it for you he says. I am always willing to help identify an unknown rifle or bayonet from your family or collection.
Arashikage
Yes, that is definitely a bayonet. It does look a whole lot like the M1914 bayonet. Try taking it to a gun store, they could probably tell you what it is. I know the owner of a gun store up the road from me, and he LOVES to identify old guns, knives, grenades, all that stuff. There was actually a problem once when I was in middle school where this guy found a grenade in his basement so he brought it to his MOTHER to try and see what they were going to do with it. Long story short, his mother lived right down the street from the school and called the cops about it, and they evacuated the school. Gotta love the stupidity of some school officials. But that's neither here nor there. Anyway, I'm here again to post a picture of my MFKR album! It's one of my favorite releases from them, even if it lacks Corey Taylor's awesomeness. Drasiana
I have an ungodly amount of Star Fox merchandise in a bin in my parents' garage (that is the saddest sentence I've ever typed). I have a couple cool props left over from some of my film shoots, though. That's less sad.
Fana McCloud
So I like collecting lots of small, physical art objects - I mean I have big ones too, but they're obviously more expensive and not nearly as easy to love and cherish by holding them in your hands. At one point I had bought a sake set from this online store called Asian Art Mall, and the product was great and their service was awesome so I kept them in mind for the future and put myself on their mailing list. Well they have a bunch of netsuke and ojime which are like these little wooden carvings, usually of animals and stuff, that used to serve a practical purpose in ye olde Japan as fasteners and closers for little boxes people would wear from their sashes that served as purses. Little and artistic, it's perfect. I get notice of a new shipment and browse some netsuke when I find this little guy: And I'm like "Holy crap, I have to snag this cause I LOVE maneki nekos and these things are one-of-a-kind". Most people would know them as "lucky cats", Asian businesses tend to place large plastic or ceramic figures of them in their shops for good luck and fortune. So I buy him and here's the adorable guy in mein own hands: I swear, I was rubbing that guy for luck all day yesterday while I worked. >:
