Hit me with your best suggestion, guys!

Hey everyone!

I've been pushing myself to become healthier, as you all know. First I started by eating less, now I'm finishing my journey with eating more fruit. I've worked strawberries, oranges and peaches (they aren't too nice but I can deal with it) into my diet. Now I'm wondering what other fruits are yummy. What are your favourites, and what do you recommend? I like sweet things, nothing bitter or sour...

Also I'm fatally allergic to bananas. So please don't suggest that one. ;_;

Btw this is the first time in my life I've really eaten fruit. I was a stubborn child before, and only now am I getting out of that mindset. XD

I really love apricots and mangoes myself, especially the latter. Mangoes are sorta citrus-y but also have lots of fiber and are generally awesome health-wise. If you want them to be sweet eat them when they're a bit squishy when squeezed and ripe (not mostly green) - I usually get firmer ones because I like tartness. XD

One of the only fruits I will actually eat are seedless red grapes. Wash them, stick them in the fridge for a little bit, and eat them when they are cold. Some of the best things ever right there. :P

Eat a small piece of dark chocolate everyday, it has a lot of health benefits.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING WHEN I WAS SHOPPING TODAY! I was in the health store buying tofu, and I saw the dark chocolate bars and I thought "I'll need to pick one up before I pay for the tofu". Then I paid for the tofu and left. God. Damnit. ;_;

Yes, pears for sure!

Hey, here's an idea;

Over the years, I've collected many small guides and tips from various trainers I've had on my teams. Would you like me to send you some of them? PM me or respond to this post if you're interested! It's got various nutrition and eating tips like what to eat and when, although much of it does pertain to living the rep lifestyle, there is stuff you may learn from.

How did I know that song would come up in this thread? It's not the greatest song, but rather catchy. I first heard it while playing Guitar Hero :P

Pineapple is my favorite fruit. I'm sorry to hear you're allergic to bananas. That sucks.

I think a diet of more vegetables and grains would be more beneficial since fruits carry sugar in them. Not to say its a bad idea or that fruits are bad, just that there could be a better option. If I understand correctly, fiber and olive oil can help manage one's appetite by giving you the sense of feeling full (especially fiber). Some also argue that an effective way of pulling weight off quickly is to try and work on a liquid diet. Can't say I know exactly how that one should work out since I have never thought much on it, but low calorie drinks that also give the feeling of being full would help. Supposedly green tea also helps suppress your appetite...just a thought! I couldn't swap out my sweet tea for green tea after I make the switch XD

Of course any chance in diet on top of mild aerobic exercise will help. I have often considered the benefits of weight lifting to help take weight off (since it takes extra calories to maintain muscle) but I am not quite sure on how this works on women as opposed to men because of the whole testosterone level difference and the slight stigma against very muscular women.
