Harvesting Horror

Since it's October AKA the "month of terror", I've took an interest to every shocking, traumatizing, brain-scarring audiovisual experiences both old and new. Stuff that makes your hair stand, stuff you can't unsee once you witness them, or stuff that just makes you go "WTF did I just watch?"

If any of you may discovers any kind of video, song, or other akin, please do share for any of us who enjoys dwelling in that world from time to time.

It's obvious that not all won't be rated-E; and it may be too much sometimes (but that's pretty much for what this little topic's for), but try to keep a limit here. If you deem it's too much for here, just post saying "Search for... At your own risk" (Does that sound fair to you, Admins?)

So, if you got something, shoot! Here's a starter

Can't tell if it was irony or if you really meant it...

If it was irony, please keep it real horror only.

To be fair have you ever paused a Nicki Minaj video and just looked at her face? Terrifying.

I was looking for that Fern Gully scene where Hexxus turned into a motherfucking skeleton monster and can't find it, but I did find a Katara/Loki crossover romance AMV??

I'm being serious actually. This video is twisted.

Two scenes from The Brave Little Toaster: the scene where the air conditioner self-destructs, and the scene where Toaster has the nightmare. I first saw that movie when I was a wee-young lad...I'm still traumatized.

Oh...you mean...THESE?!

I'd post the Worthless scene, but it's not really "scary" so much as it is just terribly depressing. "Hey, you know what would be great for a kids film? A scene revolving entirely around the fact that you will inevitably become old, broken, and defunct, become forgotten by society, and die. And you can't do anything about it."

It's a very gory movie so I can't post it.

Even through Felidae is a very strong movie in its entirety, the second nightmare scene with Gregor Mendel and the puppets was a huge highlight and a real Nightmare fuel. Disney Acid Sequence in its absolute worst version.

"Felidae (1994, English) - Part 4" From 1:00 to 2:45 in youtube. At your Risk.

For psycological horror, any slenderman series is good if you have some time to burn.

I wouldnt suggest Marblehornets, but perhaps everymanhybrid and tribe twelve. Tribe Twelve especially has been lauded for the best visuals in any slenderarchive. Here is one such wonderfull video

Slenderman is on a plane! SLENDERMAN IS ON A

I thought the movie was pretty terrible but that nightmare sequence was really great, if extraordinarily fucked up. Actually I think all three of the dream sequences were the only parts of the thing that I really enjoyed...

edit: content, anyone remember this?

Okay well it was a show about a group of kids called the Midnight Society who would gather around the campfire and tell each other scary stories, which would comprise the bulk of the episode. It was goddamn terrifying.

This is the intro sequence:

Now I remember why that show scared the living daylights out of me. Do not want.

A couple of internet classics:

This one can be both scary and funny. Honestly it's demonic at some points.

Cyriak is a classic as far as psychadelic unsettling videos go

As far as movies go, I can suggest a few:

-Prometheus: Classic suspense, but at times gets incredibly intense.

-Night Of The Living Dead: A classic. Not particularly scary but worth a watch.

-The Thing: The original, not the remake. Honestly very unsettling, and some very impressive effects for it's time.

From Stephen King's "Storm of the Century," Andre Linoge singing "I'm a little tea pot." Often after or during killing someone, or making them do it.

From the film Gummo. A very disturbing film in it's own unique way. The whole movie is full/free to watch on YouTube, so if you want to see some unusually sick stuff, check it out, but below is the scene that nailed it for me.

And now you know why I can never eat spaghetti...ever. Again.

ALSO: For those of you who want to see one of the greatest gore moments in film history, look up "Irreversible Fire Extinguisher". Watch, like, the first result you get.
