Ori
Apparently there's no thread for this one, so, i'm posting this. Quantum Conundrum is a first-person physics-puzzle game. Similar to the concept introduced in Portal, QC greets the player to a eccentric scientist, Professor Fitz Quadwrangle (also uncle of the player's character) and his experiments and accessories. Throughout the game, the player has to save his uncle from a strange 'pocket dimension' he finds himself locked in, also having a loss of memory due to a failed experiment, surviving the puzzles in the giant mansion, which may contain from deadly lasers to giant flooded areas of a hazardous liquid, assisted only by his own risk... And of course the Professor's latest invention: The IDS Glove, Interdimensional Shift Device, and the main tool that will help the player in a unusual way; shifting through 4 strange dimensions, each one with its proprieties: Fluffy (Objects otherwise heavy are completely light), Heavy (Exact opposite of Fluffy, plus resistance to lasers), Slow Motion (Self-explanatory) and Anti-Gravity. (Do i really need to tell?) The player has also the collaboration of the Professor's strange glutton pet and assistant, Ike, that can shift through dimensions by himself. Just don't look at his eyes... And as the player progresses through the story, the Professor slowly starts remembering the one reason why he finds himself in such state... The game is available through Steam, and has two DLCs available to buy: "The Desmond Debacle" and "IKE-Aramba!" It's a good game IMO, just a bit short. It has somewhat a cartoony look, but good otherwise. So, opinions on the game? Thoughts? Found something weirder than usual during gameplay? Here is the place to post it, if it involves Quantum Conundrum.
The Shaper
Inb4 "I bought it for the TF2 items" Anyway, never tried it. But it sounds interesting, puzzle/thinking games can be made very well and entertaining in the right hands.
LoneWolf
I've seen this game before, and it looks quite entertaining. I'd want it on Steam, I'll have to see when it goes on sale. Notably it's in the Absolutely Great Square Pack on Amazon, which includes Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Just Cause 2, among others, for $10. Quite a steal: http://amzn.to/QjzqKM
