Well in order to give some feedback, there should be something that we can give feedback on. I'm afraid I can't help much unless I know what the game is about other than "Has an amazing story" or "Has a deep backstory"

The backstory of

Universa 1: The Prologue

Part 1

The year is 1990, the launch of the first human super lumimal space vehicle, The Freedom. During the testing of the ship's engine to its upper limit, the nacelle ruptured, that forced the Freedom to limp back home to Earth, not knowing that it had attracted the attention of an alien ship passing through the sector on its way the Sentarie system. The Freedom, leaking plasma and radiation from the damaged nacelle, was easily caught by the alien ships scanners and sensors. This sparked an investigation on the part of the Sahliean frigate Des'vell. The alien ship followed the trail to an unknown and uncharted system. Upon the Des'vell's entry into the unfamiliar system, the commander of the Des'vell discovered an entire civilization of a race, alien to them... a young race, a primitive race... The Human race.

Part 2
The Sahlieans, fearing these people were as deadly as their more advanced primal counter parts, fled the system. Three months later, an exploratory ship, the Seb'ras, was sent to make contact with this new race, for study had shown these people were much different from the primal races of the Jirahlhanie and Devrah. The Imperial Alliance had voted to make contact with this new race and took every precaution in doing so.

Part 3
The monitoring satellite, Pathfinder, detects an unnatural movement and an E.M.F. signature. Looking over the data they were surprised at their findings. Its a ship... An alien ship.
The newly established U.N.S.C. [united Nations Space Command] was unprepared for first contact. As ship continues to drew closer to earth and then... a transmission...
"This is the Imperial Alliance expeditionary vessel Seb'ras, we are seeking to gain audience with your Council of Leaders..."
The room filled with the sound of silence and awe. These people spoke English, and spoke it quite well at that.
After what seemed like forever, an imposing figure stood up, looked around to survey the situation. Then the figure steadily and purposely, walked towards the main communication console.
With a deep and firm voice he spoke. "This is Gen. Thomas Walker of the United Nations Space Command." a pause over comes Gen. Walker as he discreetly cleared his throat. "What brings you to our little rock in the stars?"

This is our story of first contact......

here's the begging of the game.......

you start in a sort of tutorial to familiarize  you with the controls as well as the story
you are at the helm of a ship called the "U.E.N. Dauntless" during its shake down(shake down=testing the ship for issues for those who don't know) blah blah blah   ......any who ,Dauntless receives a distress signal... approaching Sol system(our home system),its just two civilian freighters and an NX-01 expedition runner, the Enterprise.upon further communication with Cpt. Archer & gen. Cole, you are sent to the human colony of Algolis where you find that a hostile alliance people near identical to humans have attacked, but the fleet is much to larg for one ship, even a Sable class supper cruiser.this is also where you learn the FPS aspect as well.you make your way through the war torn streets to learn the the Seriean Confederacy was in fact looking for an ancient relic belonging to a once grand civilization, what the item was,is unknown...

part 1/3 in chapter 1   Universa[ep.1]The Prologue

.........to be continued :troll:

My problem with crossovers like this is that they butcher the canon for all series involved because you have to change what characters do/have done.

If you're going to be altering the stories of the characters so much, why not just create your own characters and universe?

This kind of thing makes it look more like you are trying to create buzz for your project by pulling-in fans of these series by including their characters rather than creating buzz with the project's own ideas. This can easily backfire on you, as poorly done crossovers will do nothing but anger fans of all series involved, even if the game itself isn't all that bad. Even potentially decent crossovers can do that. Just look at the horrified responses in both the Star Fox and Metorid fanbases when a rumor (that was later debunked) came out that Retro Studios was developing a Star Fox/Metroid crossover.

You'll get more mileage out of creating your own consistent universe and characters than you will shoe-horning popular characters into it. If you don't think your game can stand on its own merits, then you should re-evaluate what you are doing.

Star Fox meeting up with other series characters and/or traveling to Earth or other game universes is the stuff of bad fanfiction and can hang around your project's neck like a lead weight.

This doesn't mean that all crossovers are bad. Well-done ones that are good games themselves, and respect their characters origins properly, can be successful. Look at Kingdom Hearts. But it is so hard to do that most crossovers are remembered as awful.

i agree as well, most crossovers are a terrible injustice to their respectives,Kingdom Hearts and SSB are the only two iv ever liked.

the reason for this game is my fan ship of these franchises,iv fallowed these games ever sense i was a kid.and who can say there will be another SF game,i hear quite a bit of bs about the last few titles.i am a 90's kid myself so i tend to favor SF64.i have always been one to wonder, maybe you're right,Universa could fail epicly,but..... allot of good critique has come my way as well.its one of those things that seems to be a coin toss, heads= success, tails=failure, keep in mind though,Fox is not the main, hes the mains half brother.

i believe that if done right, you might be very satisfied.
