Icy
I had the bright idea to search for Unity-made SF-like games, and came across this. Surprised I've never seen it before. Looked through the forums and I don't think it's been posted. This is really... wow. It was made in a week or so apparently. The guy who did it seems to be pretty experienced. Certainly motivates me. Be sure to watch the whole thing. It transitions from ground to space. It even has a boss! http://youtu.be/AvT8SdZ5zf8 Check out his blog post on it as well: http://klikscene.com/2012/star-fox-clone-week-1/ Wish this was turned into a real complete game. It looks so good.
Fana McCloud
That is how Star Fox SHOULD be - except maybe with modern graphics. XD
crapcat
Needs work, there's no clear way on how to aim. (No crosshair.) And movement is awfully on rails. I mean, I'd need to play it, but those are my thoughts by just looking at it, it doesn't look enjoyable. I can feel the frustration pouring out of this video. Like a vat of hot oil. None the less though, with more development time - this can turn into a good game, and over time he'll iron out those nit picks. I'm sure it will be a good source of nostalgia and the what not. Can't wait to see this in a finished state! And good work thus far, cheers to this dude.
Icy
Star Fox SNES didn't have a crosshair. And this was posted in January and I don't think it will be completed or even expanded upon, sadly...
