How do you make Skype open a window when you receive a message.

Fox-Shot

Question

For some reason, whenever an IM is sent it just puts a little one next to what is about an 8x8 notification icon at the bottom corner of my 1080p display, needless to say, I miss a lot of messages from not seeing that, it used to be a window would be opened when you get a message, how do I turn this back on? (Latest skype on Windows 7 x64 if you're wondering)

Could it just be because you don't have your status set to Online? I think that's the only setting that lets you get message noises and the little windows you speak of. If that's not the case, I'll look around in my Skype settings and see if I can figure it out.

Yeah make sure your status isn't set to "busy", but also make sure that under Tools > Options > Notifications, the "starts an IM with me" box is ticked.

Both of these aren't the case, I'm online and stay online, unless Skype automatically goes to busy when fullscreen, nothing should be of issue status wise.
