DZComposer
I loved Poker Night at the Inventory. Hilarious game. Turns out that it is getting a sequel! The players: Sam from Sam and Max Ash Williams from Army of Darkness Brock Samson from Venture Brothers The Claptrap from Borderlands GLaDOS is the dealer. This time it is cross-platform: PSN, XBox Live Arcade, and Steam, of course. Borderlands 2 items for all platforms: Assasin - Portal Turret Skin Necromancer - Max Head (But the whole thing instead of half of it like in TF2) Commando - Evil Ash Head Siren - Poker Visor (like the one for the Heavy in TF2) Gunzerker - Brock's Hair Of course, it wouldn't be Poker Night without TF2 Items on Steam: The Bloodhound - Sam's Hat for the Sniper and the Spy (FYI, this was originally to be added to TF2 during the Sam & Max promo, but was dropped) Long Fall Loafers - Long Fall boots from Portal, looks to be for the Scout Necronomicrown - Evil Ash's skull crown from Army of Darkness, for the Pyro Dapper Disguise - Handsome Jack's mask from Borderlands 2 for the Spy Samson Skewer - Brock Samson's huge knife for the Heavy, but is only cosmetic not a weapon (Seriouslty, why isn't this a Sniper melee?) PSN Users get crossover themes involving the players and their respective universes. Xbox users get Xbox Live avatar items, a portal test chanber and a bloodwing were specified, thoug the word "more" was used. "I love these little moments of quiet before the crying starts." GLaDOS is so awesome. No release date yet, but the items are already in TF2.

Fana McCloud
I pre-ordered it and got the original as a bonus, which is great cause I hadn't played it before. So far it is made of win and yay. XD

XDI just did the same. For 5 bucks, you can't go wrong.
DZComposer
I don't think it was as good as the original, character-wise. It seems like they recorded much fewer lines. Also, I think the characters should have talked to eachother a little more. And GLaDOS gets annoying after a while. Seriously, they made her comment too much. What made her personality work in Portal is the fact that she wasn't constantly hovering there insulting you every few seconds. Also, things like losing a hand on a Bad Beat (poker slang for having the winning hand until the turn or river) should not result in getting called an idiot. I guess playing big with 3-of-a-kind Aces is only a stupid move when your opponent lucks into a straight on the river.I once had a 6 in the hole. And it happened: The Devil's Flop: 6-6-6. I had the nuts (best possible hand given the scenario). I bet. Ash and Brock fold (Claptrap was already out). Ace comes up on the turn, Sam goes all in. Hells yeah! Read 'em and weep! Don't remember the river, but it doesn't matter, I had the fucking nuts. GLaDOS tells me she thought I was going to screw it up. Screw it up?! I had the nuts, bitch! Only way to screw-up the nuts is to fold, and who in their right mind folds while holding a 4-of-a-kind?Gameplay wise, however, it is much better. Better AI, better in-game unlocks, and the choice to play Omaha.
Vy'drach
I just wish it had five card draw poker. Granted it's the simplest, but it's the one I find the most enjoyable.
Fana McCloud
I honestly had never played Hold'em until the first Poker Night game and yet I found it far more interesting than five card draw simply because there's a LOT more strategy involved. You can guess at possible ways the opponent could win while still having some element of luck or surprise. With five card draw... it's MOSTLY luck IMHO. Games of almost straight luck rarely keep my interest - I might as well just roll dice all day it'd be simpler. And yeah, I agree, the dialogue kinda sucks comparatively in Poker Night 2. And GlaDOS calling me an idiot for no apparent reason annoyed the ever loving shit out of me. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M AN IDIOT?! I HAVE A FREAKIN' FLUSH YOU FUCKTWAT!" DZComposer
Five-card Draw is BOOORRRING.... I would have liked to see a few more variants, but really variants with face-up are better because it actually involves a level of skill. You have to know what you have and what the probability you have of winning is. In Draw, it's "Do they have something or are they bluffing" with no way to judge your outs (ways to win). Because of this, Draw is much more of a game of chance.Anyway, yes, GLaDOS should only call you an idiot if you actually do something stupid, like riding a no-pair hand all the way through in the face of large bets from the rest of the table. Arashikage
But isn't it GLaDOS's thing for calling you an idiot no matter what? Anyway, I like five card draw, just the simplicity of it. Sure it may not be as cool as Texas Hold Em, but I think it should have been an option. Who plays Omaha anyway?
Icy
I like Hold 'Em, but my favorite (and I know this is an unpopular opinion) is knock poker. That's what my family's always played. Really easy to play without having to bet, but I can see why something like that wouldn't be in a game like this. Five Card Draw is fun but also (as others have said) kind of boring and luck-based. Poker Night 2 is awesome. I hear lines repeated way more often than I did in the first one, but hey, whatever. They really went all-out for this one, though. It's certainly got some hilarious dialogue.

Yeah but everyone else does the same thing to a much less annoying extent, making GlaDOS sound just as stupid as the rest of 'em.
