Redeemer
I'm actually so crazy for this guy's music videos, he strikes me as a true troll and I can't get enough of his latest video for Gentleman. I've been dancing like this ever since. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ASO_zypdnsQ Do any of you guys like him? It's not like me to actually be so into something like this, but he's just too funny, I can't dislike him.
Vulvokunvrii
Well I'll say it was interesting, some o it did make me smile. Nice find.
Harlow
It's a great song and a very funny video. It references Gangnam style a bit too much for me taste. The "main plot"'s funny and maybe memetic on its own (Hope Bf's won't be asses to their GF's). He's also a huge phenomenon now, so I hope he gradually leaves Gangnam behind. It's the better option. Still, catchy and funny, and I love the fact it's more "adult"
Brutus
Yeah, i think he's just playing to the public who wants him to do with a sequel, it seems a bit forced. I'm not sure what to think of it though, he's just being a jerk in the video so it doesn't have the same charm, maybe he's trying to go for a less clean cut, more "hardcore" image, really curious about his next move though. CrypticQuery
Psy is an anti-celebrity in a sense; he does not fit the archetype of what one would classify as a celebrity in modern times. That is potentially what makes him so appealing.

Thu'um
Eh. I can't really sing it or understand it. And lyrics are the biggest part for me. He just seems like another pop star. It's time just foreign and I have a hard time understanding why anyone would listen to something they can't really understand
StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
@Ajc: It's the same thing that attracts people to japanese-dub anime. Sure, the majority of us who dont know Japanese need to read the subtitles, but it just feels better (at least to me) to hear the original voice acting. However, this is a guy singing in a foreign language. I feel it is the music video that puts him over with the Americans. The combination of over-exaggerated scenarios and an unorthodox/unique dancing style with somewhat original "moves" (if you want to call them that) brings about a feeling of hilarity when watching them. Whoever is producing the sounds for his music should get a lot of credit too. I usually cringe at the thought of over-produced "club mix/music", but this one takes that formula and makes it good? Should I be ashamed to admit as a rock fan I like the sound? On the subject of this new song he did, it starts off kind of weak, and gets better as we move along. On a side note, he looks funny without the sunglasses. He actually looks a little old to me.

StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
He's actually 35. Old in pop-star years I should have clarified how I came to that conclusion. For some odd reason, he seems to have a lot of wrinkles in his forehead and under his eyes.
Dr. Orange
This man is not Troll. He is a HERO. The greatest man among men. He is the final boss of the internet after he defeated the last one and has risen to power using his swanky tunes and his sexy shakin' thigh.

It's time just foreign and I have a hard time understanding why anyone would listen to something they can't really understand If I can't understand the lyrics, I just view them as another instrument. I mean, a piano doesn't actually speak words we can understand, but listening to someone play one is pleasant. Just think of lyrics the same way XD

The music i "prefer" to listen is really based around lyrical meaning to get points across.
Vy'drach
I like Psy because of his attitude, haha. From what I hear back when Gangnam style was just getting popular, the main reason he did Gangnam style was because someone said to him the only reason people like the K-pop genre was because of the girls that sing it. He decided to make a song with him singing it and with a hilarious video to prove them wrong, and we get an internet sensation. Reminded me of another internet sensation way back when, when someone told a man by the name of Daler Mehndi that the only reason people liked his videos were the "hawt babes" dancing in it. So, he made this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2LjAi4p--C4 Internet hit. Now, I'm not 100% on the PSY part, but that's what I heard. If not, he still has an awesome attitude with the shit he does, haha.
Rin
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eEbu1aIg1A Felt like sharing this, since I find it quite brilliant.. I find it even catchier than the original song - starts about 30 seconds in.
Drasiana
PSY is funny. Gentleman M/V had some good moments but it honestly felt, for the most part, like some forced Gangnam Style 2: Gangnam Style Harder. That's a good point, except that tunes, beats, and rhythm do speak and deliver messages. But thats another topic. The music i "prefer" to listen is really based around lyrical meaning to get points across. Wait what? Tunes, beats, and rhythms exist without there being lyrics though? Or was that what you were trying to say *psyduck*
