Theatre

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, but it's still a type of show and when I talked to Redeemer this is where she reccomended putting it. Anyways, this is a place to talk about plays you've seen, worked on, and comparisons between the play and the script and a movie based on it.

I haven't seen that many, only You Can't Take It With You, Beauty And The Beast, Midsummer's Jersey, a play that was a compialation of scenes from Edgar Allen Poe stories, and a few others.

I've worked on the sets for my school's productions of Midsummer's Jersey, Good Doctor, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Noises Off, and Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.

I have read and drawn set designs for the scripts Arsenic And Old Lace, Julius Ceasar, and a few others.

I would be interested in other people interested or involved in with theatre, either on the acting side, technical side, or as a spectator.

I worked on a production of the Rocky Horror Show at the theater I work at.  I kinda wish I hadn't had to be there because now I know EVERY.  EFFING.  SONG IN THE PLAY!  But other than that, and the fact that I actually don't really like the subject matter of the play, it wasn't a bad performance.  And even then, not all the songs were bad.  The Time Warp, and Hot Patootie weren't bad at all.

Other than that, I think I went to see The Lion King on Broadway back when I was like, 4 or 5.  I think... I went to see something when I was really really young.  And I was about to see How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying but then I heard it was balls, this was back when one of the billion Jonas brothers was in it.

But yeah, I have experience in every aspect of Theater except acting.  Never was big on live acting.

Theater has always been an interest of mine. Recently the girl and I went to see It Runs in the Family, a comedy that we were almost in tears laughing at. We are fortunate enough to have a very good theater in town and some very talented actors.

Otherwise I've seen two Christmas plays, the names of which I cannot remember there as well, which were both fantastic, and sold apples in Little Orphan Annie in the 5th grade.

The past couple days I have read The Foreigner and Books, and today I started The Taming of The Shrew.
