SF Adventure & Assault - Japanese Ver Question

Hi guys, this is my first post here. Nice to meet all of you. I've been frequenting the site every so often for a long while now.

 

To cut to the chase - I've recently moved to Japan and I'm rebuying my entire video game collection (most of which was sold for the cash to come here).

 

I want to get Star Fox Assault and Adventure, but there's the obvious question of the language barrier.

 

There are some games that allow you to change the language of the game i.e. the Japanese copy of Billy Hatcher allows all written dialog to be in English if you change it to as such on the options screen.

 

Does anyone happen to know if you can change the language to English on the Japanese copies of either Assault or Adventure?

Well, I found out that the Japanese version uses the original English voiceovers!

 

 

I wonder if I could manage to understand enough of the dialog to get through Adventure.

 

However, Assault uses Japanese voice overs.

Well, for the 0.5 people who are interested in knowing, my copy of SF Adventure came through the post, and it seems you cannot change the written dialogue to English on the Japanese version.

 

Looks like I'll be spending the entirety of the game with a walkthrough on my lap, seeing as I have no idea what people are saying other than when the voice acting kicks in.
