RP Name/Title- Marauder, Episode I: Strike of the Desolator

Setting- Multiple planets across the galaxy

Goal- Investigate reports behind supposed superweapon, codenamed "Project: Desolator." If there is a threat from the Desolator, destroy it.

Player count- anywhere between 2 and 4

 

Description- There has been a disturbance in the Force. My uncle, known to most as Darth Faasnu, was the first to sense it. My father, Kyle Indari, confirmed it. Something is going on. However, as my father currently cannot leave Dragon'taan, I, Drake Indari, have been placed in charge of finding out the source of this disturbance. I followed it to it's source, and made contact with Republic Authorities on Coruscant in Universe 02-Delta. There, I have learned of a so-called "Planet Prison," a technological work connected to a project called Project Desolator. I have also learned that the republic's top scientist, Doctor Tarnis, has been kidnapped in association with this project. Therein lies the problem. This is too large for me to tackle alone, and I require outside assistance.

 

First and foremost, we must rescue Doctor Tarnis. Intelligence reports indicate one of two parties have Doctor Tarnis in custody; First possibility is The Black Sun criminal organization. Republic authorities have it on good reason that Black Sun is the most likely culprit behind Tarnis' kidnapping - Money is the only thing crime syndicates like Black Sun respect, and a scientist working on a top-secret military project would fetch a high price. Second possibility is the Justicars, a local militant faction on Coruscant that has declared martial law on a large portion of Coruscant's streets. It is unknown why the Justicars would kidnap Doctor Tarnis, but it is certain that they are better-equipped for such an action. To start our search for Tarnis, we will head into Black Sun territory. Be wary, however - our presence will likely be met with hostile action, so come prepared to defend yourselves. We must find Tarnis before he is sold or shipped off-world.

 

Second on our list of objectives, we must find out everything we can about this Project: Desolator. If what my Uncle sensed in the Force was correct, it may pose a major threat to the galaxy at large. If we do, indeed, learn that Desolator is sa threat, we must use all available resources to destroy it and those behind it. I cannot stress this enough. If Desolator is unleashed by whatever faction is after it, it could cause horrendous damage. For the duration of this mission, we will be in contact with General Var Suthra, the Republic Military Official in charge of helping us bring down Desolator.

@Harlow: This isn't in the SF universe, it's based off of the SWTOR (Star Wars: The Old Republic) Universe. I would imagine that the fact that this RP is in one of the SW universes would be self-explanatory as to how fictitious this RP is.
