"Alright if you prefer that, but I have my own jump system if needed." Rae replied "Argo, make it so."

The inquisitor nods as the line goes dead, her face falling into an expressing of neutrality.

"Phillis?" She says as she equips herself carefully. "cancel my appointments and tell them to reschedule, family emergency if they ask" The Inquisitor needs not hear the response, she trusts her employees to do their jobs while she does hers.

After a few favors called in, The Inquisitor nurses a drink as she watches the stars fly by, her destination Ord Mantell

The Defender dropped out of the rift at Ord Mantell, and immediately flew toward the planet's surface.

"So, where did Var Suthra say to meet his contact?" Kabier asked.

"He didn't say," Drake answered, "But I can reasonably surmise he's somewhere inside Fort Garnik; it's the only republic military base on Ord Mantell."

"Want me to Scout ahead?" Rae asked as her ship came out of the portal just behind the defender moving into a formation with the larger ship.

"We don't even know where on Ord Mantell we're going, so no," Drake answered. "Let's meet up with Lieutenant Kenneth. Hopefully, our friend, the Inquisitor, will be here in short order."

And indeed she was, her hired ship lounging in orbit awaiting contact.

"Is that the Inquisitor's ship?" Kabier asked.

Drake looked and spotted it, then answered, "It has to be - it's the only ship not bearing Republic or Separatist colors. Hail them." Kabier hit a few commands into her console, then nodded to Drake. "Drake Indari to Inquisitor - you ready to get this show on the road?"

"I am being paid by the hour." The Inquisitor says, her legs crossed under a tremendously thick Tegahli, and a glass of something green clenched in her wrinkled fingers. "So whenever it is good for you?"

"Well, good - our first destination is Fort Garnik," Drake stated.

"Sending coordinates now," Kabier announced before Drake could give the order.

"We need to meet up with a contact there, guy by the name of Lieutenant Kenneth," Drake continued. "He should be able to point us in the right direction."

"NOW do you want me to scout ahead?" Rae asked. "Scanning coordinate via onboard scanner systems." Argo said over Rae's comm.

"Argo, locate our contact," Drake requested. "Rae, land your ship - we'll be going on foot."

Kabier landed the Defender in a landing bay inside Fort Garnik, where she powered down the ship's systems. She then walked outside with Drake, where they started heading into the fort.

Rae landed soon after beside the defender, Jumping out of her cockpit seat she set her helmet on, the connection to her suit and helmet hissing and clicking as the suit pressurized with the helmet. "Argo?" She asked.

"What exacly am I looking for Drake I can't exactly scan for life signs in this power armor.

On the road to the fort stood the Inquisitor, quickly donning her hat as the rest of the party approached. Aside from a thick padded Tegali, as dark red as her hat was brown, she carried nothing with her other than a grin in her winkled and aged eyes.

"You are Drake" She says, not a question but a confirmation.

Drake smiled. "The one and only," he affirmed. "Argo, search the republic computers and security recordings for Lieutenant Kenneth's probable location," he told the AI.

"Bunk 125 floor 1" Argo replied.

"Can we just go already this place already has my hair standing on end?" Rae asked, constantly looking around.

"There are fourteen hooligans scattered throughout the area" The Inquisitor says with all the care of someone discussing the weather. She points with non committed gestures, her head still bowed and her face obscured.

"6 of them are currently engaged with the Rebel Militia, i assume they are either the problem or the solution. The remaining are both looking at us, and visibly armed."

"Right," Drake sighed, "Let's get this out of the way." He led the team to the aforementioned bunk, and approached the man he thought was Lieutenant Kenneth. "Lieutenant Kenneth?" he asked.

The lieutenant apparently recognized Drake, and snapped to attention. "General Indari, sir!"

"At ease, soldier," Drake said. "We were told you might be able to tell us where we might be able to learn more about this... Desolator thing."

"Well, sir, we managed to trace a series of transmissions to a nearby outpost," Kenneth replied. "We believe it to be a Sith outpost, given the troops walking patrol routes outside."

"Hear that, Argo?" Drake asked.

"Sounds like the facility i scanned when we broke planet." Argo replied " Defences on the outside are minimal ,but I the inside was scan sheilded and i didn't have enough time to use the Mist Vixen's advanced sensors to poke through the shield." he added.

"Damn..." Drake cursed. He sighed, and added, "Well, like it or not, we have to get in there. Lieutenant, which way is this base?"

"South of Fort Garnik," the lieutenant reported. "It's the facility embedded in the rock face out there, very hard to miss."

"Thank you, Lieutenant," Drake said. "Let's get going, comrades. Inquisitor, have you ever dealt with Sith troops before?"

"Everyone dies the same" She says sullenly, looking around with her hat tilted towards the sun. She looks up at Drake with an empty expression on her withered and ancient face.

"Whether they be man or Sith. It matters not what gimmick i must overcome to see their demise."

"Just make sure that doesn't turn around into your own demise." Rae noted. "Drake I had a friend contact me mind if he joins us?"

"I can use all the hands I can get in this mess," Drake affirmed. He headed outside as he added, "Have him get here ASAP. In the meantime, let's have a look at this Sith base."

The Inquisitor looks around before she follows her contractee, her eyes passing over the distant flashes of weaponfire before she turns her back on a planet in need.

"What is the cause of this conflict" She asks Drake as they walk, her hand inside her unbuttoned Tegahli and gripping a smooth wooden handle.

"Beats me," Drake answered. "Far as I know, these rebels want to secede from the republic, just don't know why."

Up ahead was the Sith base; the entrance stood in stark contrast with the environment around it.

"Well - there it is," Kabier said. "Any idea how we're going to get inside?"
