"Tau" The Inquisitor greets, not letting her head turn to look at the Seasoned Fire Warrior. She keeps her gaze firmly on the base, looking for anything that might spark an idea.

"So much for playing this subtle," Drake commented.

"Hold on," Kabier said, "Where's Myles?"

(Seriously, where is Starkid?)

"Umm... Drake The Firewarrior behind you is asking a question. Argo said transmitting from the firewarrior's combat armor.

(He just posted on another forum.

"I haven't found any direct entrances, yet Drake." Rae replied "Most if any are heavily guarded  by sith troopers or mechanized troopers my sensors call some of them Dark troopers..."

"Can the Fire Warrior speak a passable standard?" Drake asked. "I didn't catch the question."

(Galaxies or LL?)

"He's asking if you are commander Drake..." Argo sighed.

"Not 'Commander' per say," Drake answered, "If we're going to be using ranks, I prefer my real Rank of General. But regardless, what's the question?"

(Just FYI, Kursed, I've forgotten my password on LL. Had to clean out my internet temp files and cookies, and it erased the ones from LL. can you do anything about it?)

(That was his Question. Shas'O is how Tau dictate the senior member of a squad. He was asking if you were his commanding officer)

"Movement, 3rd floor second window." The Inquisitor says, throwing herself into cover before anything could open fire on her.

(I'll see if I Can temporarly change the password for you and pm you it later. And  BW is correct. Shas'O is the highest rank of the Fire caste the military of the Tau is Shas  and the 'O is the highest rank.)

"That's practically what he called you." Argo noted.

"Sorry my basic is very bad I just came to Lylat a month ago." The Firewarrior replied, eyes darting to the target the inquisitor spotted.

"Sniper 3rd floor." Rae called out. I'm gonna try to sneak up behind him."

Myles had been quiet this whole time... to quiet some would say he hadn't spoken a word and the look on his face was blank... emotionless even. The memories raced through his mind, the gunfire blazing past his head to the call for help from his friend and leading all up to the last memory of that day... all was quiet throughout the battlefield as every thing slowed down... "BLAM!'

Myles snapped back to reality with a slight look of fear on his face... he remained silent waiting on the next move.

(sorry am late guys I've been a bit bogged down and I completely forgot about this)

(Very well.)

Drake took cover, then began laying out his orders. "Okay, here's the plan: Rae, find a way to take out that sniper; Fire Warriors, once that sniper is out of the picture, create a diversion to draw the Sith troops away; Inquisitor, Myles, you're with me - once the sniper is taken care of and our friends here draw off the enemy, we'll be sneaking into that base. Remember - we are here to get any and all information on this Desolator, so be on the lookout for a supercomputer or anything of that sort. Inquisitor, are you armed?"

"You're talking to the wrong person, Drake." Rae giggled.

Shas'El Myles the Firewarrior ,quickly took aim with his long pulse rifle, before the sniper could fire another shot he was  met in the face with a plasma bolt.

"Nice Shot Shas 'El!" Rae soon said over the comm.

"Thank you Shas' El Rae."  The Firewarrior said in response waiting to move with the rest of the team

"Drake I'm going to place a marker light for Shas' El to fire a photon grenade it should create enough  of a distraction for you, hold for my signal." Rae soon added over the com as she pulled out  what appeared to be a laser range finder.

"Drake I'm feeding your information about Shas'el Myles right now try to use so you can better use his skills." Argo noted sending Drake a file on Shas'El  inclusion his skills and  advantages it mentioned he was a excellent shot even when on the move and how good a melee combatant he was compared to his Brethren who consider melee combat barbaric and unnecessary.

included in the file was the profile of his weapons Pulse rifle: extremely accurate long range semi-auto rifle. Pulse carbine: smaller version of the pulse rifle less accurate at long range used for closer combat under slung grenade launcher with Photon grenades that are used for defensive purposes similar to a flash bang....

She allows him a glance and nods, reaching inside her long and bulky coaty to withdraw a clumsy and antique pistol. She nods again to confirm the old and worthless pistol is her weapon and waits for her next orders.

(Srry, been busy with work, and on top of that, a cold/fever.)

"It's now or never, people - let's hit them," Drake said. He readied himself to move when the Sith troops were drawn away...

Shas'El myles fired a photon grenade and began running, hoping the others would follow.

The grenade exploded into a blinding light in many color spectrum even Ultra violet...

Meanwhile Rae used her telepathy to 'spot' the nearbye troopers though the flash and shoot them before they knew what had happened, she hit 2 of the guards dead on ,but there were probably more on the other side of the base but those 2 were the only ones on that side.

(haloooo!? anybody alive in here?)

  • 2 weeks later...

(As I indicated before, I have been busy with work. My apologies.)

Drake made for the hole in the enemy lines, headed for the Sith base embedded in the cliff wall. "Argo," he asked, "Any idea what's waiting for us inside?"

"Stay sharp, people," Drake said as he entered the facility. "There's bound to be more surprises." The hallway he was in ended in a dead end, with an elevator shaft at the end. With nowhere left to go, Drake stepped onto the lift. "Shall we?" he asked.
